Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots	I dont think it improves your character in anyway only when in things like automatching u will play similar ranked players also its about respect the higher the level the more respect you should get, altho it doesnt seem to work like that!

Something to do with your kill to death ration and stuff like that. So you don't ever have to "bother" leveling up. It just happens. On the other hand, there are skills that you can and should level up. Just go into skill settings and pick the ones that you want. You use them for a while and then they level up.

Without the CQC skill, the only CQC moves you can do is the PPK and the slam. No grabbing or anything like that. There are individual skills for every weapon type. The sniper skill reduces hand shake and makes reloading the bolt action faster, the handgun skill reduces recoil, etc. The higher up the skills, the more they improve what you're doing.
