i just wanna go on the record to tell everyone Gray Fox is spelled with an A NOT AN E so everyone please stop spelling it that way. I was playing mgs 1 and in the Codec its spelled with an A when he talks to naomi so can everyone pass it on. It makes me upset to see the greatest character in the whole series get his name spelled wrong.. and i also have another question in MGS1 gray fox destroys the computers when he goes crazy in otacons computer room how is it that otacon can turn them on when they go back to shadow moses? in mgs4??? |

It was spelled with an E in Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2, not that I particularly care. |

That really depends on were you go, I would assume. Spelling it with an "e" may be wrong in places like America but is fine (if not normal) to do it in places like the UK. As such, I wouldn't be greatly surprised if the localization of the game in those places used an "e" instead of an "a." Of course, you'd just have to ask someone who is someplace where it is not incorrect to spell it with an "e." |

Jacob is correct. Frank's code name was originally spelled with an e. (Grey Fox) So either way, it works for me. |

To answer your Second question Gray-Fox 10, when I fight against Fox he never really destroyed all the computer for me, except of course the one Otacon uses in MGS4, Fox always gets that one when I play kinda funny ha? so it's kinda like a really small scale version of saving Meryl or Otocon ya know you get to choose which computers to save kinda, anyways MY WORDS OF WISDOMI Once again am just thinking but remember when you beat Fox he bangs his head on the ground and says: "I'm loosing myself" well he does that kinda close to that computer that you use in MGS4 and I think Hideo was showing symbolysim between Foxes messed up Nanos and Snake's in MGS4. Like I said though just a well educated thought.

What? No it's not. That's the colour 'gray' (which has a lowercase for reference). 'Gray' is a name, names do not differ depending on the region. |
