Metal Gear Solid	I was reading the synopsis from the MGS4 Guide to better understand everything through the MGS saga but I was a bit confused at one point. I understand that Ocelots primary goal was to destroy the Patriots from the inside but I was wondering if the Patriots knew his motives during Shadow Moses. Did the Patriots still see him as a founder/ally and saw him working on the insider of Liquids terrorist attack, basically a spy on their behalf? Or did the Patriots at that time know he was going against them? Sorry if thats a little confusing but if anyone could help clear that up I would appreciate it!

Metal Gear Solid	I suppose the Patriots, at that point in MGS, still considered Ocelot as being their spy. We only know who the Patriots are now, and what they did. Ocelot wanted the uprising, and manipulated him into doing so. We aren't 100% sure of the reason, but I would suppose that he believed in doing so he could kill off a Patriot (and make it look like an accident) or blieved that the uprising would end the Patriot reign, almost as a pre Guns of the Patriots attemp. At any rate, it is open to interpretation.
