This morning whilst I was sleeping I had a very trippy dream. Now thats normal for me because nearly all the time they regard something going on in my life and I usally wake up a confused mess, not to mention I woke up thinking it was saturday(probably not unusual for most people but 4 me,I never forget what day tomorrow is) Now I dont know much about dreams and what they mean but does anybody have any ideas what they mean? Im starting to feel like an unstable mess. Thanks |

Dreams don't really mean anything. I love dreaming, and I always remember all of my dreams. Most of the time dreams are sort of an surreal replay of events that happened either that day, or sometime recent. Think of your brain as processing what you have experienced while you sleep. But it can also be based on your feelings or something you want really really bad. Usually dreams like getting a game or watching a movie before it's release. But for some reason it always turns out weird and underwhelming in my dreams, heh. And sometimes its about me visiting America again. I miss it dearly and I think about it often, so its only natural to have a dream or two about visiting America. But for some reason about 99% of all my dreams have been very very depressing. Often dealing with an impending doom. Think of it as an anxiety attack but your death is actually going to happen. The thing is, in real life I am not too afraid of dying. I mean, what happens happens, right? What can you do? But in my dreams, I am terrified of dying. Its always some monstrous unknown thing always out of sight that is hunting me down. Like its right on the other side of the wall or something, and its only a matter of time before it finds its way around. Other than that, there are dreams that are so depressing its at the point of suicide and stuff... But I also have disturbing dreams. Like numerous dreams of beating the shit out of little kids, grabbing an assault rifle and going on a shooting spree killing women and children, and one dream in particular where I break into my neighbor's house during Thanksgiving and mercilessly torturing and killing the entire family and their relatives... I even killed their god damn dog. But yeah, other than that I guess my dreams are just as strange and interesting as everyone elses. EDIT: Oh, whats funny too is that my dad dreamt of these numbers recently and told my relatives (who are lottery fanatics) and they immediatly put the numbers in the lottery and won. Twice. Yeah almost all of them that I remember are connected to occurances in the past few days. One of the most surreal dreams I had lately, revolved around me breaking the necks of anyone I came across(including people I know).I just got their heads and twisted until they went limp and dropped to the floor utterly lifeless. The strangest part is I had no remorse or regret whilst I was doing it. Their was no feeling of anxiety, panic or any other feelings which someone would feel after commiting mass murder. Emotionally I felt as lifeless as my victims whilst killing them. |

My dreams never make any sense. Like this one I had last night. It was the guy who narorates comericails for movies and I was at a stadium and while the narrator is talking some guy walks through the gates but he gets sliced up so.........Pretty wicked. Seriously some of the stuff I think up subconiously you would think was from some pot head. |

Well dreams as I see them are just a systematic movement of unorganized unconscience thoughts into your memory banks for further use. Creativity all stems from your unconscience mind so dreams are quite possibly the greatest expression of your imagination. |

I have dreams of my Army Career (which hasn't started yet) but I know I'm gonna die in the Army the way these dreams are going. But a comforting thought is that I'm gonna go out saving someone or something. At least thats what my dreams say. |
