Don't you think? I like to get high whilst playing games and the MGS titles are the best for this in my opinon. When a cutscene kicks in you can chill and have a smoke while watching them, after it's over you're back into the action with a deeper sense of immersion if you're stoned. Plus the games give you something to think about too, this in turn stimulates your brain and gives you a better high. God Bless Hideo + Kojima Productions. |

I don't know about that man, for me it's alot better watching people play the games, then again i haven't got high in over a year. You have quite a mind to understand it while your high though XD. |

i love playing MGS while im baked.. you get into the story alot, especially if you just picked up the newest one at the time. MGS3 was awesome first day i got it. |

I disagree.. ..Call of Duty 4 multiplayer split screen on hardcore mode, is the greatest game you will ever play when stoned. Me and my mates play it all the time if we smoke a couple of joints indoors.. I sat up two nights straight when I got MGS4 and me and two of my mates got though a quarter bag of skunk and a couple of other bleak rolls in the time.. greatest thing ever.. I played it straight and they watched, it was fucking awesome. Multiplayer games are still the best when it comes to being high.. Tekken and Guitar Hero are also fucking cool when stoned.. |

Well, I think a big part of the reason the game could be considered "perfect for stoners" is simply because of how great it is. If you're playing an MGS game chances are you're playing just as good, if not better, of a game than anything else you could be playing, so your gaming experience while being high should be good either way. Honestly, I've yet to play MGS4 without smoking some herb beforehand. However, it's pretty much impossible to declare a game "perfect for stoners", because it's all a matter of personal preference. For example, if you're a stoner and you don't like the MGS games, chances are it isn't going to be "perfect" for you But yeah, I'm with you on tokin' before getting into the game. I made damn sure I was lit before playing it my first time. |

True. I've had my share of whacky tobaccy, and my share of MGS. The latter is the one I am still hooked on, the former I haven't had a puff of in close to 2 years. It just seems that is behind me now, at 31. What works is the atmosphere of the game and the no-need-to-rush of stealth. Could be there is nothing going on, still the thrill is there all the time. And the music delivers its fair share. So I can only agree. |

I love playing on shrooms, tripping my tits off and hugging the TV, nothing better than watching Meryll strutting her stuff loved up imo, MGS2 was way too orange though.

Seriously its not. MGS requires serious concentration for the most part and most drugs kinda eliminate that ability. Also the sheer cleverness and artistry of the story should be what helps you immerse, not substances. |

I find that weed stimulates my mind, which in turn, makes the immersion far deeper. That is just me though, everyones's different. I find I get a much better sense of immersion, in all games, if I've had a joint or two. It doesn't mean I need to smoke weed to enjoy games. Just makes it more fun IMO. |
