Clinton is said to concede to Obama today, he has gained basically enough of the needed delegates to make it the nomination, nothing is official per say, but basically, we all know that come today, Clinton will concede and hand the election nomination to Obama, and then, the Presidential election between McCain and Obama shall commence.

I had my doubts during the beginning of this nomination, I had doubts when Clinton's numbers were well over Obama's and Edwards. Once Edwards dropped out, I started gaining for faith in Obama, when he started winning more and more primaries, when he spoke, I could hear victory in his voice, and now he will, in a matter of hours, be our nominee.

All I can say is, about fucking time, and I really hope to God that we don't go Republican again and vote 4 years of McCain, because the way I see it, he is the equivalent of Dick Chenney in office, and I don't know about you, but that very thought makes my spine shiver.

I don't like Obama but I don't like McCain either. But I dislike McCain more so than I do Obama. So my vote is clear.

Clinton is now considering running as Obama's VP. She knows she can't win, and we know Obama has it now. But polls suggest with Clinton by Obama's side, he may gain favor in Hispanic and Blue Collar White Class voters, than he would without her as VP. Personally, I detest Clinton and I'm a bit unsure of her as a VP, but I think between her and Edwards, she would be a better choice, and if it helps Obama get votes, than why not really.

Fetish for you.
Well its about time she conceded, seeing as we all know her brain is the size of a peanut and her views mimic that of bills. I swear shes just him without nuts:

I've already said this before so ill just cut and paste most of it:

Personally, even though I disagree with so much of his views, I would easily vote for him if i was an American seeing as John Mccain is way too convservative for my liking

If yous elect an african-american president who can say "Hey I was never with Bush, I never believed in this war, and I am a man of the people" then people will start to respect America again all around the world. Something your country needs imminantely

Plus, even though I dont like how it might work, why NOT get universal healthcare? Sure it doesnt work some places, but isnt America great enough to do it??. Though if you look at us- the U.K- our taxes practically rose twofold when the NHS(National Health Service for you Americans) came into place and i doubt many Americans are going to be so happy to fork over their cash when we are in such an economic downturn.

So taxing the rich and poor for it just isnt going to work.

Also Obama has to be one of the best speakers i've seen in politics for a large numer of years now and it would make a great change of pace, seeing as US politics largely affects the world.

Thats the bottom line, if he were to win it'd be a huge shake up of politics [which could be great for the US but also could be bad]. A very Junior Senator, the first black president, a selfmade man....that would be great to see.

Anyways off for midnight golfing toodles.

:P That made me laugh, the bit about Obama needing to grow a pair. But hey, whatever floats your boat man.

I think it's about f-ing time Obama won. It's been drawn out enough even though we could all see the outcome. Obama is indeed one of the best public speakers i've seen in a long time. He's quick on his feet and doesn't exactly need que cards for every sentence. Obama for the win.

....And it doesn't matter to me if Clinton is the VP. She wouldn't be doing shit anyway. Haha

It's great to see, but the fact is him winning his very unlikely, actually I'd be quite surprised if he isn't blown out of the water. This isn't me supporting McCain, this is me being honest and conceding to reality, as much as I'd like to see Obama win, I doubt it happens.

Hopefully I'm proved wrong.

Realistically, if you are right, than we are very racist than, aren't we?

Because McCain intends to keep Iraq going like Bush, and Iraq is the key reason Bush has the lowest approval rating in American History. If we are smart, than we will vote Obama. Judging how much we know Iraq to be a horrible choice, why would we want another 4 to 8 years of our boys and the people in Iraq being killed?

I see what you are talking about man, a lot of people are saying that, but though I have hope, I won't be too surprised if we ultimately vote McCain, because God forbid we elect a black man whose "too different" in office.

I hate politics.

If McCain's wins nothing is going to change, we are gonna be plunged into another depression most likely. Nothing positive sticks out to me about him other than the fact that he's old and I believe his mom is still alive (heh). Obama is probably the only one who will bring change and if the American people really wnat to get out of the Dog house that we are in right now they will choose him.

You've Been DC'd.

The insane amount of coverage Obama is getting in the media is good for him just as long as no legitimate scandals arise. I've almost heard nothing about McCain so the only thing that's going against Obama really is the fact that the majority of voters are an older demographic. The 18 to 28 age group are the main supporters of Obama... of course, i'm pulling this stat out of my ass so I could be wrong but I don't think i'm wrong when i'm saying that the majority of that age group are not even registered to vote.

Anyway, that's my two cents... I have more change but I have to go back to work.

Yes I saw alot about this today as I sat watching BBC news for three hours for no particular reason other then I had nothing better to do. I believe the right candidate won, theres something about Hillary I don't like and I think Obama is the more sincere of the two. Though I think I want Mccain to win the general election as he wants to keep troops in Iraq and he supports free trade (which is good for the UK). Though I think if I were american I would vote for Obama as he seems more on the same wavelength as the people and a more competant politician overall.

not sounding racist but don't you think Obama is kind of a token president. What I'm saying is if he wasn't black do you think he would be the nominee???

Yes I'd think so since People aren't backing him because he's black but for his opinions, policies, and ideals.

If Barack Obama weren't black, then all these worries wouldn't even exist, because he'd be a great candidate and white, so then the racism worry would die down.

Not to say that he won't be elected for being black, I'm just saying some still think that way, and it's sad in my eyes.

One of the factors of Obama becoming the nominee was that the Democrats were scared they would lose the black vote if the super delegates didn't put Obama as the nominee.

Although I fail to see how they would lose the black vote anyway seeing as how the democrats have butt fucked the black vote on many occasions.

if people are afraid to vote for him it's not just that he's black, it's because he's too liberal for even the most liberal liberal.

And thats exactly why he should be voted in. I havent seen a liberal president or prime minister in years. So i say why not give them a chance? After all i'm sick and tired of the way things are. Though we shouldnt withdraw from Iraq like the democrats say.

And theres no way i'd vote for mccain:

1) His last name is the name of a chip company

2) He's too old, i sense a senile white president coming if he wins.

3)The majority of his views have so many holes that its enough to sink the titanic
