...do the powersuits at the vista mansion gate count as kills during the chase?

I recently finished my Boss extreme run, and I did just fine by sticking to the back of the APC. Drebin can take afford to take the hits, you can't.

no,you defiantly want to hold on to any chaff grenades you have, just use the solar gun charged up or hit em with the saiga12 vring ammo as said above, also a grenade attachment to an assault rifle using stun grenades might work, also try the emotion smoke grenades
Spoiler: click to toggle

The solar gun charged up? takes too long... but yeah emotion smoke grenades work good as well. I used them a lot on the bike chase.
As for the Chaff Grenades... I made sure I had 10 of them before beginning with my no kill playthrough... It was enough for me.

It is when you have to take out multiple enemies :)
Anyway... it's not my first choice because of the charging time and there being a lot of annoying pmc's climbing on the vehicle...
But maybe you're right and it is a very good method. I never tried it so maybe I will the next time.

You don't need anything when dealing with the battle suits, just lie down at the back of the apc as soon as you can, and nothing will hit you. Just make sure to protect Drebin later when dealing with the Geckos. I did this on Boss Extreme, Drebin barely loses health, and I didn't start getting hit until later, when fighting Geckos.

what about those basterds climbing on the apc? Man.. if this works I could've done it a lot easier at that part.

Trickiest part on boss extreme was the bike chase though.... I'm glad I already have the BB emblem. Never again am I gonna try it again haha... damn did I cursed a lot during the bike chase :D
