 I have finally found it. The holy grail of owns. Basically its on this SVTPreformance forums (whatever that it. something to do with cars.) Theres this guy called DrYeRLiNt who calls out this other member COMMON, who is essentially some sort of internet private investagator who is notorious for hunting down information of members and finding dirt. So DrYeRLiNt calls him out and dares him to find dirt on him... And so members start lookin' in and waiting for the OP's shit to be handed to him, and information starts trickling in about his life and whatnot, but he's not fazed. So this goes on for about a good 18 or so pages and then Common finally digs up EVERYTHING about this guy. Like, EVERYTHING. Things I didn't even know you can dig up through the internet. Name, Parent's name, cars, house, address, his job, his telephone number, his ex girlfriend, etc. And theres more twists and turns you most DEFANITELY will not see coming. I really don't have enough patience to read through 31 pages to find out what happened. Is this the one where "Maybe a spoiler?" Spoiler: click to toggle Cause I remember reading a similar thread on another forum about such an event. Edit: ahh, NM I read a few pages  sadly it isn't. Nice thread though, intresting.

Man I tried to read this but I can't I have seen stuff like this so many times on the internet. I have been part of groups of people doing stupid shit like this to people. You know what. I somewhat agree with Maryl. Yeah the guy was askin' for it and everything, and he got shown up pretty good. BUT some of the guys posting in that thread were jackasses. You could just tell they were getting excited and waiting for the next pun to post so they could impress all their buddies. I find that sort of community pathetic and laughable. I'd have to agree with Maryll. Anyway stuff like this happens on a weekly bases, this is just the normal reacting to it. Like I had stated on an above post, I saw something like this happen though that I found to be the biggest "Ownage" on the net. Somebody was trying to do the same thing, after a while it turned out they found evidence that he was a pedo...got taken to court and all that jazz, but in the mean time he was let free and he spent his days on the net still talking on the forum...was rather interesting up to the days he 'disappeared'. |
