Due to the lack of jobs around the area i live in currently (cuba, missouri) and the fact that my job doesnt have steady enough hours and doesnt pay enough, Me and my girlfriend have fell behind on all our bills. we're about to get kicked out of our apartment. So she and my daughter are going to move into her sister's house...and I am going to have to go back to new york while she gets caught up on bills and tries to look for a new place. There is no definite time limit to how long i will be gone. it could be a month, it could be 4 months. I could never return. I'm going to miss my daughters first tooth. Im going to miss her first step and word. She's only 7 months old. she's going to FORGET WHO I AM in two weeks. I dont really have anything much else to say....just thats the situation with me. |

The thing is, I don't mind going back to ny...its just leaving my gf and baby behind. Im going to have my gf show her pics of me allt he time and ill talk to her over the phone so she can still remember me or something...I just have to get back as soon as possible. Maybe Ill sell art on the side of the street or something, idk. |

Yeah man good luck getting your shit sorted for your kid's sake, unfortunately the best thing you can do in the current situation and how things are in the US at the moment is work your ass off, you won't see your daughter for a while but it's for her future so it has to be done. Hope you figure it out, I've been there and it's not nice. |

I was a very sad man to read your story and I feel really bad about it. I am certain though that you will, with careful planning, come through all this. yeah i tried asking her sis if we could move into her garage... her sis said that while its a great idea, theres too much cat fur and id die (im allergic to cats), it smells like ammonia from cat piss, theres slugs and theres no insulation so me and my daughter would freeze in the winter. it sounds kinda like a whatever excuse to me, but im not gonna argue it. ive been talking to some artists in ny and ive already got an apprenticeship lined up at a tattoo parlor hopefully that will pay off. |

Tattooists get paid quite well, so I'd definately go with that. However, her excuses do seem a little whatever, but on the other hand I can see her point. No insulation and cat fur isn't what you'd want to live in, and she wouldn't have the cash to fix it up, and neither do you. |

she wont forget you but do the phone thing. As for the first tooth it's not that fun. It's painful on the babies and they get cranky. I know because I just watch triplets go thru that. Ugh. Walking may not happen for a while but just try and get pictures and maybe a video if you have a cam that suports it. |
