Don't you just love it when you are playing MGO and someone joins your game named some variation of Solid Snake? Such as S01ID SN@K3 or SoLiD SnAkE ZOMG! That name must have taken forever to think up. I'm not sure why, it just happens so often that it irritates me. /rant |

I couldn't really care if someone joined my game with a variation of Solid Snake for a name... Its really just a name for them to use online. Who says they have to be creative about it? It would be like fighting with someone to force them to make a more creative player name because it irradiates people. Its... dumb to ridicule someone for having a plain player name. Take my user name for example, its S-SnakeJ135. You know what it means? No. You'd probably think it just stands for Solid-SnakeJ135 and the 'J' means nothing, but in reality it means (truthfully) Subsistence-Snake_John (or Johnathan) 135. Subsistence, for MGS3:Subsistence being my favorite MGS game. Snake, well, for the animal... And John for my first name... 135 for spice. Its really long, so I made it shorter. You don't want to know about the Gamertag.

What annoys me is the thousands people who make clans with them being the only member.. kinda defeats the point of being in a clan.

ive seen one that was straight up just called solid snake. the entire time i was in that server is went after him for having such a useless name. ive also seen one that was solid waste. that means poop. i laughed at it.

As long as they don't spawn kill or tea bag you after every kill I guess it's ok... but really, be original ya know? After seeing so many Snake names it just kinda gets to me. |

How is a player name useless? I didn't know a player name could be useful or useless because... its just a name. Thats kinda of dumb thing to go chasing around a guy because his player name is 'useless' to you, doesn't make much sense at all to me. |

what i mean by useless is a name is meant to identify who you are. not like track down where you live or anything, but i think you catch my drift. its useless to use a name like solid snake in mgo cus then you just look like sheep in a field you know? |

I get what you mean about unoriginality. It's like when playing Final Fantasy 11 and you see all the variations of Cloud like: Clowd, Cloooud, Cloude1123, CStryfe etc. It would be nice to see people coming up with their own character names, not to mention a name that's easy to say over the microphone. |
