Yeah, this is much worse than the other candidate who not only uses racial slurs against the Vietnamese(past experience is no excuse when you're about to become president) but is also willing to further put the US in debt by staying in Iraq "as long as it takes" without raising taxes even a little bit. Yeah, much worse. |

so remind me again why he said "57" states then? I saw the video clip and he didn't seem to be joking, if his tongue just slipped that's possible, but then again we don't want our leader's tongues slipping at inconvenient times do we? unfortunately in the media any sign of weakness is a large sign of weakness and stupidity. |

Personally I dislike both candidates, I'm pretty sure it was a mistake but then again it's Obama I'm not sure what to think of the guy, on one hand you have a man you want's to change everything that has already been established and want's things to be all equal(sounds like communism), on the other you have a man letting illegals in the country by having U.S agents tell them where there are less guards by the fence, which like all candidates also has made his share of mistake's. All and all the media blows things way out of perspective, and most magazines, TIME, USA Today claim that they already know who the winner is, it sounds to me that the media is deciding everyones opinions for them. |

That's dumb. No really, it's really dumb. Until you have ANY kind of idea what Communism is(I reccomend reading Das Kapital or at least The Communistic Manifesto) do not EVER make any kind of dumb statement like this. Obama isn't left-wing; only in the fucked-up US scale which is far more right than pretty much every other country except China. |

Well it sounds like he's pushing for a command economy,(State,government controls and regulates the economy) like what Stalin had. and Communism is run with no socail class in society there is no rich or poor (if your a doctor you make the same as a cashier) anyway from a lot of Obama's first speeches he talked about we need to do away with lower class, second class and higher class citizens sound's kinda the same for me. Ill be honest No, until you sparked my interest in this book so I read pages one of the Preface and introduction of The Communist Manifesto . and in it proves what you are saying is wrong, after I read those two pages I didn't need to read anymore. because it states in your own reference "Millions of the Soviet Union, China,Cuba and Eastern Europe live under Communist rule" there your only defense has proven you wrong.

PS: FOR PETE'S SAKES I WILL GET BACK ON TOPIC: I just find it funny because I believe on a playback he says "ALL 57 states" so either he meant that there are 57 states or he meant there is 47 either way I think it's funny but politicians are always slipping up showing mistakes or their I.Q. level. No, it sounds like common sense, please don't bash communism based on what you know about China or the Soviet Union, read The Communist Manifesto by Marx and Engles, ISBN 9780140447576. On topic, he obviously meant to say 47, if he genuinely thought there were 57 states, would he really be running for president? |

yeah my bad for continuing that pointless debate I just had to get that off my chest, it's just I cant stand when people don't present facts and sway the truth to fit their understanding anyhow, I almost don't think it matters anymore, I believe Obama, has this in the bag already, I mean I live in a conservative state but so many people are moving in from out of state and are changing that, plus he suposable "appeals to the younger generation", but whatever.
