ok im not sure if im doing something wrong, if my game is bugged, or if this is what is supposed to happen, when i have a flashlight on my gun turned on, when i aim the flashlight stays on for about 3-5 seconds then turns off, i thought this might be because i wasnt in a dark area, so i found the darkest place i could and tried again, same thing happend. obviously the flashlight isnt really necesary with NV on the solid eye, but i would like to know if there is something im not doing or doing wrong, any help appreciated |

Mine does the same thing. Other than blinding enemies the flashlight has no use really. I usually don't bother puting them on unless I want my gun to look cool. |

It's only supposed to stay on for a few seconds, pretty sure the only really useful thing about them is to blind enemies. |

you can always turn it off while having it the gun on just open up the in-game weapon menu like you would to change to a different weapon and hit square to turn it on and off i prefer to have them off of the gun, most of the time when you aim the weapon the light will make the enemy see you,you can always turn it off but if you wanted to blind an enemy you'd have to turn it on and off all the time |

Yeah, I turn it on as soon as I go into alert mode, and if I know I'm about to get spotted, but since there really aren't any areas of the game which are really dark there isn't a great deal of point in having it switched on when you're in stealth mode. |

yeah, i dont actually put them on any of my guns, but i feel it is pointless having them anyway if theyr just gona stay on for 3 seconds to blind the enemy, would be great to use it instead of NV although most areas that are dark dont even need NV, eh oh well, just feels like a wasted oportunity to me |
