Hi All, It all started when I was 16 and MGS got released for PS1. At this time my parents got divorced. Going through a rough time I played lots of video games to forget things around me.... I had the feeling to really understand what some of MGS characters went through. Everthing was so intense... Now 8 years later I'm still a fan. Being an artist myself (musician, photographer) i really love Metal Gear Solid's artwork. I bought all existing Books, comics, posters, games amd accessoirs. On Top of that I had the artwork of Gray Fox Tattooed on my lower leg. I used to do combat sports for a long time and the mystic creature of Frank Jaeger really fascinates me.. that's why I did this tattoo, not only because the game's great! To the series: I still find MGS1 the best of the series. In MGS2 i missed Snake and the story got too "artificially" towards the end. I enjoyed MGS3 better than MGS2, especially because you got lots of background informations to certain characters. And about MGS4? I have yet to play it :-) Once I got the time I will take some photos of my collection and tattoo to have it posted here. I'm happy to have found these forums here - it seems to be a friendly place and much better than some of the "I'm a bigger snake fan than you" forums. All the best, Horizon |
