On Hard Mode and above difficulties, The Harrier is just a fucking bitch. Right when I think I'm safe, I begin running down to the second floor and I'm hit with a sonic boom. The barrage of bullets was also not great at all. Took more that a several tries. Had to keep circling the cylinder and praying that Pliskin drops the Ration in a safe place. Can you believe the fool drop a ration right in the middle of the Harrier's attack. I had to hope not to get hit by a homing missile and rush to the ration without getting hit by a sonic boom. |

OMG...I could not beat vamp on extreme without the brown wig. Even in a general sense, vamp was the most annoying boss of them all. The Harrier fight was awesome IMO...very dynamic and required several different strategies to beat it. Solidus fight was also fun. |

Then shoot the lights out. Vamp on extreme was tricky but easy. All i did was shot the lights out, went inot the Sw corner and put a claymore facing west and one facing east. Then i hung off the rail. Vamp jumps out of the water to come get you but gets shrapnel in the face. Repeat as nessecery. the harrier on extreme was a total pain. it took me like 30 tries to kill that thing. RAY on extreme was endless it seemed and the choking afterward was next to impossible to clear. Fatman is annoying on any difficulity Solidus on extreme was tricky, especially after he lost his tenticals. |

Come to think of it Solidus was a bitch. Fighting blade to blade was fine, he wasnt too difficult. However, when you got to the brunt of it, and he came at you with his firey attacks, it was like WTF?! Stop it! That took me a few times. I got set alight so much. |

Yeah for some reason the fire never comes out on time. By the time you attempt to role, which Raiden is incapable of doing correctly. Half your life bar is already decreased. |

For me, Fortune. I hate every single little thing about that character. The way she talks, the way she walks, how much she wants to die. If she wanted to die so badly, then why couldn't she just off herself?! |

Most of MgS2 bosses were just , not because of difficulty but I was shocked how different they are from MGS1 ones. Not the kill mechanics, but their unimportance in the story.Anyway, Vamp was surprisingly easy, Harrier wasn't even close to Hind in MGS1, Vamp made me laugh most of the times, Fortune was just eh, But the ones that really gave me run for my money were Rays and Solidus (all hard+ difficulty, mind you) I knew the tactics but I just lacked the coordination and focus for perfect timing and execution. It was annoying knowing what to do but the game was SO unforgiving there, really really annoying. But overall, I have to agree with poster above me, Fortune was weak character in all departments with pretty weak excuse for immortality, and her end was supposed to be eye tearing or something, I never quite understood that part. Overall annoyness: Fortune Fight mechanics: Solidus + RAY (on hard & EU extreme) |

I think the Hind in MGS1 was much easier than the Harrier in MGS2, maybe that was just me though. I'll have to agree with the rest of the gang on general annoyance being Fatman, but on extreme I kept just being obliterated by Solidus. I am not a swordfighter obviously, plus, no matter how many times I watched him destroy those Rays, I loved him for it. That sequence was just so awesome I was like "Do I really have to hack this guy to death?" |

Fatman. The bombs he would plant would really piss me off. I just wanted to knock him the hell out, but I was too busy worrying about the bombs. |
