My PS3 is sat horizontal.
No other reason than just my dad saying it was meant to go that way :P

PS2 is also sat horizontal.
Never had them vertical. Scared I would knock them over or something.

Horizontal.

My discs slide in easily through the PS3. If I had it vertically, it might malfunction, or no?

I always keep my systems in horizontal positions anyway.
