I've been trying so hard to do Extreme on Infinity Missions for awhile now but for some reason, I can't do it. Does anyone know the best way of going through it quickly and also getting some good soldiers? Thanks, Aaron

Usually I use scouts so they can sneak quicker and use them to sneak up and choke enemies instead of slamming them as it takes a while to knock them out that way. So if you have any soldiers with scout maybe athlete too and A or above in CQC then I suggest you use them. |

One thing I like to do is, if you see a soldier, and you're behind him and no one else is around to alert. Run up behind him and he will turn round to see what the noise is, he says "Huh!" You bump in to him and quickly go round the back of him and choke him. Just a quick way of disabling an enemy. Another is, if you've set off the alert phase, and an enemy is near, instead of killing him and lowering your score. Punch him, and run round the back and do the same as above. |

i would like to have a deliveryman, rescuer, scout, athlete all in one but i cant/dont. but what i do i take a tengu with S2 in CQC and deliveryman powers and i use him to silently slice enemys i dont want or dont want the enemy to see. but for you i would get a guy thats a deliveryman and has lots and lots of stamina and health so that when you make it to the check point you can refuel ur med packs and ur rations on the characters |

If you have a soldier with high enough stamina you won't really need too many rations. I shake down every soldier I stun as around 50% of the time they drop rations/med kits. |

also if u wanna be real sneaky try to send out soldiers that might possibly be in the levels that way u can walk around freely without bein detected n u can walk behind enemies n capture them |

Also knocking on one side of a door and then sticking to the other side is good as you can then CQC the guard as he comes through the door or just sneak past him. |

Here's what I like doing... My main guy at the very least is a Deliveryman. Gather as many items as you can, mainly medical supplies because you get a mission end bonus to EXP. He should have at LEAST a "B" in CQC so you can grab soldiers from behind. When you choke them out this way, they stay knocked out the longest. Now, when you are progressing through the game, take your time. Don't just rush up and grab an enemy for a take down or shoot at him with an unsilenced gun! Watch them. Learn their patrol patterns. You will maximize your ability to stealth takedown. Always keep an eye on your surround indicatior... I can't count how many times I'd take down an enemy and his pal catches the whole thing. Try not to kill anyone if you can help it. You get more items from knocked out guards, and on top of that, if you DO happen to get spotted, the knocked out enemies won't disappear... Whereas dead enemies disappear in Alert Mode and more ALIVE enemies are chasing you! Try to keep only one weapon on you. Preferably one that your soldier is good at using. Keep one slot filled with 15/15 small med kits, the other with a Mine Detector if you can find one (to help spot the Kerotans!) and leave the last one open for misc. goodies. I like to eat rations as I go, or put them in the truck to stockpile. Just make sure to keep medkits on you... They will save your life at one point. Lastly, make it a point to capture some soldiers. Don't go completely out of your way for one enemy, but if you can, grab new people. Not only could they possibly be good new allies, but they also have items on them. Good to stock up on for that long 15-20 stage mission, you know? Good luck. If I can do it, you can, too!!

when i (try to) play extreme i usually look around first on the map to see where i am becuase sometimes in the levels there is a guy right next to you when you start and you dont want a stupid mistake to ruin your game and when you have the chance a silenced gun is your bestest  friend for executions or for scaring a guy for more items

Ive seen people beat extreme mode over 50 times and ive only beaten it 6 times!!! and one more thing, when you constantly beat extreme mode does the soldiers that you then capture become more stronger? |

Ive done it over 150 times... and no they dont really become stronger unless you add Baits to your sneaking teams. And if you get caught just run thru the whole level and try to keep it up as long as you can... it willl only count as 1 alert.... Ive had full alert thru all of the levels and it only counted as 4 alerts... 1 on level 1 thru 5. 2nd on 6 thru 10, 3rd on 11 thru 15, last one was 17-20 |

I'm fairly proficient in Extreme, not played in a while but I've cleared it around 90+ times on the EU and US version of the game. What I like to do to clean the cobwebs is pick 3 soldiers I want to improve. Put them in a team, and the 4th member is someone with low health. Usually Naked Snake. And try to go through Infinity with just Big Boss trying to get the best rank possible. Not allowed to switch charectors at all. The only thing the others soldiers can be used for is recruiting. Fox with 3 alerts and around 20 captures is my best with Big Boss so far. Not managed a Foxhound Big Boss run yet though. |

right, the best way to find best soldiers on alert mode is....... have any weapon, handgun is the best, run up to any soldier and slam him on the floor and equip ur weapon and hold L and he wil say freeze! and do this to every enemy shooting u! the good thing is that they never move from the floor! and when you do it to all soldiers the alert mode drops almost instantly then u check their stars! the best soldier to hav is... 250+HP,CQC skill=A or above,and headhunter! BTW try this and tell me wot u think!  |

huh, it actually worked and i got a soldier with 312hp- fox soldier... athlete/deliveryman and with a few s2's..... if only i would've known this a long time ago...
