ok so i checked out the mgo shop to see what they had to offer, theres a codec voice selection which is basically a collection of calls to use in game for 2.99GBP and 3 character slots going for 3.99GBP now is it just me, or is that a complete rip off, no wait... complete scam. ive downloaded games cheaper than that, thats 7 quid for some voices and some more character slots (which btw still cant change clothes or nuthin after u've selected them) where as like say.. call of duty for example gave us 5 new mulitplayer levels for 8quid.... C'mon konami, u cant need to money that bad can u!? |

It is a tad expensive, but then again you don't have to buy it. I just don't see why they charge small stuff like that, that much already. I hope they lower they're prices, and also make new worthy content. And CoD4 gave 4 multiplayer maps, not 5. |

Quid is a name for English Cash, to say it like that. I think they're originally called Pounds, but a lot of people say Quid. |

I wouldn't say its that expensive, its only £4 for 3 character slots - I'm never going to need more than that. In fact I doubt I am ever going to use more than the 1 I have. And Quid is slang word for £1 (e.g 5 Quid = £5). |

I bought the extra character thing so my brother can have a character as well...I thought I was getting 3 extra slots, but you only get one. It says you can have UP TO 3 additional character slots. I noticed this after I bought it since it now says I can now have up to 2 slots. :\ oh well |

I'd pay if I wanted to make a new character, it's not really THAT much. But I still find it sickening that it costs 7 dollars to MAKE a new character in a game I payed 60 dollars for. Ill buy map updates and such, but not this. |

I don't blame them. If it's free then everyone can make as many characters as they want. That would be crazy.. Why would you need more than 4 or 5 characters. It needs a limitation.

It's just the fact they clearly have no consideration for people who have families. It's like, either Fazian or Adnan will have to pay for their character which is bullshit..soon they'll start having to sell seperate copies of the actual game to siblings. Edited by Null, Jun 16 2008, 08:18 PM.

I was thinking the same, if you have another PSN, or a user even. A KONAMI ID linked to another E-Mail, you could make a new character right? If two or more persons would be using the same Playstation. |

I've already tried that, it doesn't work. You only get one free character per PS3 console. The console registers this I think. I made a new Konami ID so I thought I could make a new character, but it's not possible. I still have to wait 4 or 5 days until I can delete my current character and then I'll see if I can use the same slot for another free character. Maybe someone else can try this to make sure? Someone who's willing to give up his current character off course.. Anyone who registered his character on the release day should be able to do it sooner than me. Looks like MGO isn't a family-friendly game. |
