Yup. ![]() Honestly, when I'm sad I don't make it worse by listening to sad music. I mean, there's a handful of songs that can make me sad just by listening to them (Half A World Away from the aforementioned album, Street Spirit, Fake Plastic Trees and Gagging Order by Radiohead off the top of my head). I try and listen to some kind of emotionless modern rock... The Offspring maybe, or Metric. Or chirpy indie pop. |

If I'm sad, but want to feel happy, I'll propably pop in some Paul Gilbert or something. But I have to say, I don't really take my current moods into account when I listen to music. I just go by instinct and listen to what feels right. I seriously have no idea how me being sad or happy affects it. |

I agree with Muikuli and ADJ. I don't really have certain songs that I listen to when I'm sad, but listening to some songs can make me think of certain stuff, and be sad. Prince - Purple Rain Guns N' Roses - Patience Radiohead - Street Spirit Eric Clapton - Layla Aerosmith - What it Takes U2 - One Out the top of my head, that's all. |

a-Ha - The Sun Always Shines On Tv This song has been one of my "sad" songs for a while, when for some sick reason, I want to make myself feel worse about stuff, and maybe to release the madness a little. Konami - Enclosure This song is my number 1 for those sad hours. Wolf's death had some beautiful music. Seriously, this one intensified a crying fit I was having a couple of weeks back, about a lot of stuff. I couldn't control it anymore after hearing this, and cried the hardest I have in years. This is definitely my pick for the sad times.
