"Enclosure" and "Heres to You " are my favs. "Enclosure" always makes the moment very emotional. "Snake Eater was good too, a real James Bond vibe from it (though I'm not a big fan of Bond). "The Best Is Yet To Come" is great too, despite the fact that I usually dislike Irish ballads like that. Also, for some reason I just love the alert/boss music that plays in MGS1. Always get me psyched up.

I like Through the Fire and the Flames by Dragonforce, probably the greatest band ever made easily and all these other crap bands like Metallica and Zeppelin try and copy their style they invented. |

Hah! Well you are obviously just a damn troll, you just came here to annoy people right? I've seen most of you're posts now, and it's just sad what you're doing, get a life dude, seriously. What you just posted here as well, has nothing to relate to the topic, and isn't even funny, and saying DragonForce is better then Metallica or Led Zeppelin, and they're copying DragonForce now as well? Wow, seriously... The music sounds nothing alike, and Led Zeppelin and Metallica were estabilished way before DragonForce. And like Sonny said here, he posted up a topic yesterday, the same as this one. I guess I can repeat what I said there. 'I think I'll go with Snake Eater, or maybe Old Snake''. Im pretty sure that this is refering to Metal Gear Solid songs only. Hence why the title is 'What is your favourite MGS song'. On topic, I like 'The Best Is Yet To Come' always have. That and 'Psycho Mantis' Hym'. MGS4's 'Love Theme' is also beautiful. |

The Best Is Yet To Come is good for obvious nostalgia reasons, and because it reminds me of the end sequence with the polar bears, but Love Theme would have to be my favourite, I don't know why, I just like it, Old Snake is epic too. Oh, and of course Through Fire And Flames by Dragonforce. |

The Irish Ballad at the end of the first game. That stuck with me because it was during a period where "real" songs with lyrics were still a very rare thing in a video game. Getting one in such a story driven game meant quality. Before that, it would've been "I am the Wind" from Castlevania: SOTN, but the Metal Gear game came along and simply crushed all of the previously best soundtracks around. |
