Yah, a lot of people still say BJ won that fight, but I question what fight these people were really watching. BJ poked GSP in the eye early, and hard enough to make it bleed, which means it was one hell of an eye-poke. After that he landed an uppercut that knicked the end of GSP's nose (causing it to break), and this was all within the first minute and a half of the fight. For the whole other thirteen and a half minutes that the fight went on GSP totally dominated, IMO. He was going blow for blow with his hands but he was throwing a lot of leg kicks as well, not to mention scoring four or five takedowns to BJ's zero. Truth be told, though, it was clear that BJ gassed and wasn't in proper shape for GSP, and there's no doubt he'll be ready for their second fight. Also, GSP is a better fighter now than he was in their first fight, so I truly believe this fight will be much greater than their first, and that's hard to imagine. Tough prediction to make, too. |

yeah it is a tough prediction to make. Im gonna say GSP because i always go with him. But Bj is gonna be ready..which is scarey cause the guy is a great fighter |

When I first hear a fight announced I instantly make a prediction in my head (usually isn't the same as my final prediction), but I seriously felt like BJ would be taking this one by submission (rear naked choke specifically). If BJ wins I see it being either a (T)KO or submission, whereas if GSP wins I think it'll be a decision. I don't see GSP finishing BJ. Honestly, though, there's no way I can predict against St. Pierre, especially after his performance against Fitch. I've watched the fight over ten times now, for sure, and a buddy's coming over tonight to watch it. |
