Some of you might have done this already considering MGS4 has been out for a while but have any of you actually played all 4 games through again back to back(watch all cutscenes, play the game stealthy, generally taking all the time you need to enjoy the game) I've been thinking about it since I got MGS4, I was planning on playing 1,2,3 beforehand but I never got around to it. It would be great to enjoy the plotlines and major twists all over again and considering the storyline of these games it would be enjoyable for the diehards fans. So have any of you done this or something similar yet? Edited by Iansnake, Jul 21 2008, 04:32 PM.

Well i'm not exactly doing a marathon, but i'm playing Sons of Liberty again right now. I'm almost past my most dreaded part: defusing the c4 packages and then fighting Fatman. After that i'm going to make a save and keep it so i can enjoy the rest of the whole game over and over again, (i'm on extreme, but since i got my BBE in MGS4 all i want to do is stealth in all MGS games again!) After that i'm gonna go onto Snake Eater again and do the same and i'll also make saves at my favourite parts. As for MGS(1), well bud i've complleted that i believe 6 times, but it is still the best. But as i said... 6 times!!! i might wait a little longer for that, but i'm glad i'm enjoying it all all over again! |

I did MGS1, MGS2 and MGS4 but have yet to do a full marathon of all the games, although I did play through them all in the week leading up to MGS4's release, hardly a marathon though, I'd say it's only a marathon if you play them all back to back with no long breaks, I'll give it a go soon though, probably start with MGS3 and MPO (although I do believe that they were designed to be played after MGS2), through MG and MG2, finish up with MGS, MGS2 and MGS4. |

^ ^ I would have done that (or i at least say i would have) aswell on the week of MGS4 but i was sick (worked well for me, i just wanted MGS4). But there was no way ANYTHING was gonna stop me from going out early morning on June 12th, 2008. And i went out at 7.45 a.m. and got it at 8.39 a.m. Took a bit of effort, but oh so worth it. |
