The true meaning of insanity is rummaging through years off of topic conversation on a metal gear forum, I reckon.

Why are members from The Bitches necro-posting constantly lately? You guys do realise that with most of the pointless threads you're doing it in it's against the rules to be doing so don't you?

Basically going to threads from years and years ago and bumping them needlessly. This one is a bit different so OK, but I've seen a huge amount of older threads being bumped for no reason lately.

Because a lot of people around now wouldn't have been on the forums back then, Nate. Anytime people make a topic that only somewhat is covered in another topic you merge them anyway. So less work for you and gives newer members a chance to see older topics and add their opinion and whatnot.

Nate's a neatfreak about the forum. :P

But the reason against Necromancy is that it can bump down current topics and make people more prone to skipping over or miss them.

This logic doesn't work with threads which have been resolved or which have ran their course which is what I am saying is against the rules.
