I thought E3 2008 was good. Im looking forward to a couple games: -Gears of War 2 -Fable 2 -Resident Evil 5 -Halo Wars -Star Wars: The Force Unleashed -Little Big Planet -God of War 3 -Fallout 3 -Dark Void All i know is that G4 owned E3 with all the Hands-On demos they got. Whatever happened to this Kojima game announcement? E3 was disappointing again. The only partly interesting things I can think of which came out of it was the FFXIII port, Animal Crossing (which was revealed a few days before E3), Pikmin and the Silent Hill videos. |

Here's my take: Nintendo's conference was terrible. Especially for hard core gamers. By the way, whatever happened to "the one game that will satisfy all hard core gamers"? Where was Kid Icarus? Where were the surprises? Wii Music looks pretty lame if all it is pressing buttons that play pre-arranged music. There's no skill whatsoever. The Sports Resort looked alright... And that improved motion device? Makes them look bad in my opinion, especially since they should have had that from the beginning. Now we need a wii mote, nunchuck, and add on motion thing...How much is a controller now? $100? I thought the Sony conference was okay, especially after Nintendo's and I enjoyed the God of War 3 teaser.  On the bright side of E3: The Prince of Persia developer walkthrough looked good. The Mirror's Edge one looked fun too: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/36297.html But the best trailer/gameplay I've seen thus far goes to Resident Evil 5. |
