Komm, S�sser Tod Posts: 5,456 Group: DEAD CELL Member #3,061 Joined: September 8, 2006	This game has taken fuckin' ages to come out, but the only changes I can see is in the environment and graphics - the gameplay and A.I. itself are almost an exact copy of RE4, which, to be quite honest, is a little disappointing. Don't get me wrong now, I loved RE4, but I don't really fancy playing through another RE with that gameplay. ...Heck, even the animations and sounds are pretty much the exact same. It's just a little disappointing that this game has taken so long to develop... only to result in the same shit we seen 4 years ago.

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty	I'm fine with not being able to strafe or run and gun because that would ultimately ruin the experience. I mean having to stand while shooting is one of the main things that made RE4 so unnerving at times and removing that would almost break the game I think. I have to agree with Tam though, the animations and even the enemies themselves have thus far been a let down yet I'm still hopeful that given a few more trailers/demo we'll see a lot more innovation. It's still important to remember that they've only shown a vertical slice and the fact that the trailer showed a whole bike chasing sequence and the fact they've included co-op makes me pretty hopeful that there's still a lot more innovation to come.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater	I actually would be okay with playing through another Resident Evil 4, that game just nails it for me in terms of third-person shooting. Lots of people seemed to have issues with the lack of strafe, but I never even had a situation that called for it- can't you just turn a little to the right/left and shoot them? Anyway, looks fantastic. I don't really care about Chris, but it'd be good to see Jill again.

Tam, you're right. the gameplay trailer they were playing in g4 had the same animations. for instance when the infected get shot in the face it's the same as re4. but i think the environment and the ability to have more enemies on the screen will make for a great game despite having many similarities with re4.

The graphics and gameplay look like greatness and I can't wait to play through the game. I've never actually been nearly as excited for any other RE game aside from this one. Too bad I still know jack shit about the RE storyline.
