Now that i understand Metal Gear more then ever i would have to say theres something about metal gear solid that caught my eyes and where a couple downfalls are. FIRST AND FOREMOST! AND IM NOT HATING I AM A FAN! METAL GEAR FUCKIN ROCKS! BUT BACK TO THE TOPIC! Metal Gear started gettin too advanced. i have a feeling that their going to bring back the original metal gear games from MSX2 on ps3. god bless them if they do. but i have a feeling their going to FUCK IT UP. and we cant allow this to happen. THEY ALREADY FUCKED UP GRAY FOX ON PORTABLE OPS. THAT DUDE IS NOT GRAY FOX. GRAY FOX WAS A SOLDIER NOT SOME JUMPING ADVANCED SAMARIA FUTURE NINJA WITH BRAIN PROBLEMS. I HOPE WHEN THEY CREATE IT THEY DO EVERYTHING THEY DO EXCEPT MAKE IT LIKE IT WAS. DONT CHANGE THE STORY AND MAKE IT SOME TYPE OF G.I. JOE ACTION LIKE IT WAS BEFORE. CAN I GET A WITNESS?? DID I EXPLAIN IT WELL ENOUGH? |

i meant to say bring back the g.i. joe type element they had in the first ones! sorry i was typing too fast. think about it man. metal gear solid 3 snake eater had that because it was in the cold war era. back 2 the basic stuff. u got bosses like fire trooper, shotgun dude, machinegun kid, u know? regular soldier bosses u know unlike vamp, beaty and beasts unit. not saying i dont enjoy those dudes their the shit and made the games sweet and were perfect for a metal gear 4. just that this is where it started and bring back that element that it had. regular ole war army combat! |

no offense, but there is such a thing as forum etiquette. But back on topic, war is constantly changing and with that, new technology is needed. so really the era of rambo style tactics on the battlefield will be obsolete. The longer MGS goes on, the more new technology has to be brought in. take real life for example. could a unit completely made up of older technology stand up to someone with the most up to date? sure numbers game affects things, but ultimately technology is one of the driving forces of war. as Otacon once said, "science thrives on war" |

Technology will NEVER ever Beat out The pure and true skill of a seasoned soldier. .Science and tech IS nice, trust me, but Instincts,experience,senses, and skill will NEVER be Obsolete Adam Leos, In the Real world, and in the realm of mgs. However on another topic, I would love to replay mgs remade for the ps3. . .that would be very nice in my opinion, no more big boss games though, as I have explained my theories and beliefs to that in other threads. |

I agree with you there. what i simply meant is that technology undoubtedly plays quite a large role in today's wars. with that, the tactics and skills need to change according to the new technology. Guerrilla Warfare can't work unless the ambush can be carried out due to intelligence of where the ambush will take place. Ultimately, you are right. When technology is broken down, war truly relies on what a soldier knows. but as time moves on, i believe war will become more focused on how the soldier utilizes the equipment he has been given, rather than simply relying on something that isn't 100% accurate. Technology gives that accuracy, or at least a false sense of it. When lives are on the line, a soldier can't simply rely solely on what he feels. Believe me, i want to believe that the soldiers instincts are what matters most, but when it comes down to winning a war, the country doesn't want to take chances with what the soldier feels. |

all i know is that the metal gear game didnt have all of the advanced stuff. thats only for metal gear solid. this is METAL GEAR. back when war was the guerilla warfare and solid muthafuckin snake infitrated that base and took them dudes out. without otacon and his puny science! Thats one hell of a plot if u ask me and will be the best game. mg2 solid snake will be just as good. sure the science is needed for war ok ok im not talkin bout real life im talking about the development of the game. make it how it is in the msx version with no new frog enemies or jumping ninja gray fox. put a lil elements of the great escape or guns in navarone shit in there u know to pay homage. im just worried that if they go on with the remake DONT FUCK IT UP. this is a great game and the sciece technology is sweet den a bitch on metal gear solid but this is before all that. make it some what like snake eater |

The reason it advanced is because like snake said in the very first movie in the game is because wars change so soldiers have to change to adapt, i dont think they will bring out the original games again because they wont be what people liked about them in the first place, i welcome the change with open arms and hope they do leave the series there and dont bastardise it with some sort of sunny/raiden sequel or prequel or some other junk |

if they do remake those games, i believe that there would be hardly any story changes. new features and gameplay would change, but i doubt Kojima would allow the story to be changed. |

Well I disagree with most things you said especially Gray Fox. Have you even played MGS1? You know he was put through Gene therapy? And if you don't like his past your going to have to deal with it. That's his character, tough. And if you liked Gray in MGS1, how could you not have a small admiration for him in PO? He's the Perfect Solider from the time he was put through San Hieronymo to Shadow Moses. |

What can i say.. we dont know... in mgs3 subsistence, koyima said, MGS4 WILL BE THE LAST GAME OF MGS, that happend with NINJA GAIDEN to... going back, i think IF (remember IF because can be that they ll never make a mgs again), they make a new one, could be... 1- making the old mgs for psx and those games.. for ps3, that will be very good, and 2- they can change the mgs and making it like raiden story, being the ninja, that would be grate! just like mgs1 XD, another thing whata $·"%"·$% was thinking koyima when he deside to make raiden unplayible in story modeΏΏ?? note: what does means in the beggining THERE IS NO PLACE FOR KOYIMA or something like that in a box when snake use the octocamo first time? note: i liked mgs4 but i think if they make another PLEASE DONT SHOW THAT MUCH OF VIDEO, my friends told me that if i was looking at a movie, for me more than a game its a movie, but i want to use my ps3 too.... but still mgs4 its... in a word.... its THE SHIT, for people that doesnt understand it means like IT ROCKS |

there are too more games comeing out for defenante look closely at the naiomi sence with snake act 2, and Hideo did say that there will not be anymore MGS series and thats why he wraped it all up now ready for him to take a back seat in things, a well deserved rest for him, and mabey a couple of neck masarges lol

another mgs will definintly show up if we and kojima survive that time in every serie that is created is installed in the next installment for instance camouflage and some stuff is removed but i you dont understand you dude ofcourse the game is changing they cant forever create the same game it will be boring they have to think of something else mgs1 award for the best story Kojima really outdone with himself then mgs2 best graphic engine Kojima really wanted the game to look good alas the other games dont recieve awards its harder to make more better games than the last i dont think that anyone going to buy a game if its graphics are like mgs2 solid snake as well war changes and people change as snake said when you live your hole life or atleast 20 years you see that everything changed around you not as it used to be |
