Metal Gear Solid	Doubt it, could be possible, but Volgin knew Raikov for years, probably before EVA defected, so it is extremely unlikely it is him, if at all possible. Also, surely he would have acted sooner or perhaps shown some signs . I think EVA didn't show up because of ADAM (Ocelot), either due to request or by finding out he would be there two may have caused some problems.

I thought you meant Raikov was EVA (blonde woman) etc. And it is possible that Raikov was EVA, though I could have sworn they were American, and that Volgin had known him for years.

Metal Gear Solid	Spoiler: click to toggle You're right, it was ADAM that Naked Snake was supposed to meet (and did unknowingly), but it is realed by the EVA we know in her final message to Snake (the tape where she reveals The Boss' true intentions) that she was an imposter, and that the two NSA codebreakers that switched over to the USSR were both male, thus the real EVA was actually male Anyway, like I said, not a real story point just an alternate universe "what if?" type proposition. Aside from the stupid name correlation, it would also be amusing that Ivan got the feminine codename of the two, and may actually explain why Snake had the mask in the first place? I never really did many codec calls, did they ever explain that? To be honest, I would have liked to see more of the Volgin/Ivan relationship explored other than a crotch grab on Snake and hesitation when wearing the mask in your fight with him. It's never really clear at all what the deal is between them, whether Volgin just castrated him after making him his bitch (thus the crotch grab) and them actually forming a relationship on that, or whether they were like brothers in a battle and Volgin knows of an old war wound, or even if Ivan was an orphaned adolescent in the battle of stalingrad and Volgin saved him and raised him like a son. The mission was ultimately cancelled, and SIGINT stuck the mask in BB's gear. Um...I think. Just put on the mask, then call SIGINT on the radio a few times. He'll explain it all in one of the conversations.
