Tell me your favorite gun and why. If I left your gun out of the list then I couldn't think of it, so just tell me the gun I left out and then why its your favorite.[I wasnt including Grenades, or any CQC items(Knife, Handkerchief, Cig Gas Spray, ect.)] |

the single action army is easily the funnest gun to use and it is somewhat effective to some extent for taking folks out at an angle. |

SAA definately. I agree with the 'taking folks out at an angle' aspect, and also, the way you can spin them and stuff if you rotate the analogs at an angle or something, it' s a pretty awesome gun! |

This gun is like one of the best assault rifles in the game. XM16E1! Unlike the loud ass AK you can put a suppressor on it. It is a pretty awesome gun. |

I went with the MK22. I definitely use it a lot more than any other weapon when playing MGS3. It's simple and it does the trick every time. It's also very light. The Mosin Nagant would rank second on my list. I'm all about the tranquilizers

I made a topic just like this once when I joined, it was for guns of all the games though. Though I really love all the guns I would say it is a tie for me between the Mosin Nagant and the MK22. I love stunning because it feels like you are really mastering the game when you dont have to kill. Although the M19 is a very nice looking gun and the scorpion is fun but you hardly get any use out of it since you get it so late in the game. I also love the sound the Drugonov makes, very powerful sounding. But in the end I will always prefer the non lethal method. Good topic. |

 I'm a sneaky bastard so I'd have to go with the SVD Dragonov. The double headshots I love to take from far range are sexy and it's always such a great relief. It's pretty loud though. As for my second favorite weapon, that would be the SAA. It's powerful and fun to use as everyone else says. |

has to be the dragunov sniper rifle. apart from the fact that you see the enemy go twirling down, and the powerful sound,i just loved the fact that you can get it in the virtuous mission as well as the snake eater mission, helped on the bridge.and i am good at it |

This decision is entirely dependant on scenario and situation. If I am sneaking, then a weapon with a supressor is the greatest option. Possibly the M1911A1. Effective, good accuracy and I prefer it to the Mk22. If I am sniping, then there is the choice of the SVD or the Mosin Nagant. For me, the SVD easily triumphs. It's scope is superior to the terrible scope of the Mosin Nagant. However, I dislike the noise it creates when fired, and the recoil is terrible. If I am at a stage in the game when alert is unavoidable, such as the motorbike chase at Groznyj Grad, then my favourite weapon would have to be the fantastic Patriot. Reloading is unnecessary, the accuracy is moderate when you get used to the weapon, and it is extremely effective. However, the M16 is an excellent weapon for this situation as well. Unbelievably enjoyable to use, and extremely effective, as well. |

Gotta be the Mk22. Reasons in order of importance: 1) It can use a supressor 2) You can still use CQC 3) You don't get caution mode if a guard finds a tranquilised guy 4) Keeps food fresh

For me it's the Mk22 If I'd have to vote for the 'coolest' gun in Snake Eater, then it would be a draw for the Mosin Nagant and the Patriot. |
