Well, I'm basically here to review Pump by Aerosmith. This will mark my first CD review, and maybe I plan on doing more. The reason I'm doing this, I bought Pump today, or well, yesterday. And just think it's a amazing CD, you can read in my review why I think that, and my personal opinions on it. This review is my personal opinion, so don't go flaming me or some shit for ''being wrong'', okay thanks.

Hope you enjoy.

Pump was released in 1989, it marked the 9th official album by Aerosmith. Pump starts out with a extremely fitting Blues/Hardrock song, Young Lust. This song should set the tone of the CD. Aerosmith are mainly inspired by Blues, but they're not afraid to throw something on top of that. Of course not all songs are the same, in fact, everything sounds different. Steven Tyler has a great voice, extremely fitting for a band like this. And then we have a amazing guitar player who goes by the name of Joe Perry. The solo's you will hear throughout the songs are basically Blues solo's, but Joe Perry is not your ordinary guitarist. He manages to play every solo, every riff, just the way it should go. What you hear on this CD is pure perfection, nothing is to long, or to short. Everything fits in perfectly with each other. As I see it, there are three type of songs on Pump. We have the standard Blues/Hardrock, there are two ballads on the CD(Water Song/Janie's Got a Gun and What it Takes), and theres the occasional ''party song''. Listening to some of the songs on this album, you can already imagine people just partying to it, not in a bad stupid way, but a good one. When listening to a song like My Girl you might get the urge yourself to party, that's a great party track. This just shows how diverse Aerosmith is, theres no way this is just some standard band. Everyones heard at some point in their lifes about Aerosmith, and they truly earned that. I recommend Pump to everyone who wants to start out with Aerosmith, otherwise just get the older Rocks album. I'm still listening to this CD, I love every part of it.

On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair. Warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air. Up ahead in the distance, I saw a shimmering light. My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim, I had to stop for the night. There she stood in the doorway; I heard the mission bell, and I was thinking to myself, ’this could be heaven or this could be hell’. Then she lit up a candle and she showed me the way. There were voices down the corridor, I thought I heard them say...

I definitely think it's a very underrated Aerosmith album. Plus I just love "Love In An Elevator."
Classic.
You should review more CDs.

Carry on with the reviews. It was quite well thought out, and gave us a background on the band/the album.
Well written:)

That's a pretty good review. Gives you a feel of the album.

A couple of recommendations:
-You should maybe use some paragraphs, cause as it is, you seem to be jumping from one thing to another a bit too fast.
-Making some comparisons to other bands/albums of the same genre is informative when done right

You descriped the album pretty well though. Looking forward to new reviews

Looks good so far. Like Muikuli said, you may want to break it down into paragraphs for different parts of the reviews. Also, maybe add a pro's and con's section. In that, you could maybe put what you think are the best songs on the album and then the ones that you didn't think either fit with the rest, or just weren't all that good. Either way, I'll look forward to some more reviews you write in the future.

Cool review, I'm not a big Areosmith fan, in-fact I only really liked Walk This Way with Run DMC and Don't Wanna Miss A Thing. I really loved Don't Wanna Miss A Thing it was an amazing song.
