Hello, I'm new to this forum and joined the boards because the new game has sort of brought me back into the fold. I've been a MGS fan since 1998 with the PS1 release. The character centric story and model of gameplay were novel at the time and the replay value was awesome. I had a pretty large MGS collection which I've been moving out to make room for my even larger Iron Man hobby, but I'll never get rid of the games themselves.  Cool forum, hopefully as I replay games and get deeper into MGS4 I'll be on "board". |

The truth is that while I am selling off extraneous collection stuff, it should be obvious that I'm a Metal Gearhead just by the stuff I've amassed that I'm not getting rid of! LOL! Either way, thanks for the "Hellos" and I'm definitely a fan even if all I can keep up with nowadays are the actual games. Wouldn't mind seeing a Metal Gear anime though..... |

Thanks. I'm more or less only holding on to the games, a soundtrack and maybe an old strat guide. I've got several other collections and had to part ways with some stuff for space reasons. Either way, for what those items are selling for right now that are in my link, I don't mind letting the stuff go. I've had all of that stuff for years now, so it's good to see it go to another Metal Gear guy. Just because you move out of your extraneous stuff doesn't mean that you've let a whole franchise go, though. I love the Metal Gear series, but you guys can hoard that collection. I'll keep hoarding Iron Man stuff....
