I was skeptic thinking the expansion pack wouldn't do shit, because honestly I could care less about playing as Meryl or Johnny, though I do actually enjoy Johnny and his Compact XMB, but the new levels, especially the urban environment level really makes the game a lot more environment based and sneaky. You can use turret guns, the artillery, and you can climb up the satellite station which is a superior sniping spot. Also, I'm pleased to say the M14 problem has been solved. It's no longer 750 like before, now it costs 3000 to use, which means one kill won't let you use it off the bat. Now all we need to do is lose the damn voting and the not being able to change clothing and we have a score here. But overall, I think this expansion packs makes for a fun MGO experience, and take my word for it, the urban level is without a doubt, the best level apart from Brown Town. Who else thinks Gene Expansion made MGO more entertaining? |

I bought it yesterday. I'm really happy with the expansion too and now you have to work a little to get the m14ebr. They should place some voting limits. It's really annoying when a blue player is joining red just because blue is losing, Konami should make it 1 switch per round. It's really annoying when the same guy tries to get moved to the red the 10th time. But I'll gladly lift my helmet for Konami, they actually did something to make the game at least a little better. ^^ |

in about 2 years it may get cheaper by a dollar or 2  but i still haven't been able to get it yet either,i'm just gonna wait till konami get's their shit together and it becomes available for everyone and not this dumbass IP shit

im enjoying it very much, only thing is i got the GENE + and my new character (female) is basically generic and has no skills. i like the Vertous Vista map its friggin awesome snipers' galore. johnny is cool tho doesnt have nanos which means no SOP but can shit his pants which is quite funny. Meryl with the cheap (1000DP) DE with scope is total ownage. had a sneaking game earlier with (obviously Snake) Meryl and Johnny, probably the most enjoyable game ive had on MGO so far. |

Come on Rex don't make hasty decisions.  Use the ps3 to buy it and check a few times per day and you will definately get it. Or you could just wait until everyone else has it and then you can get it without any problems.

I really enjoy it too, especially the new Brown town known as Coppercity Conflict, again it has become my favorite map just like MGO1. I suggest people not giving up on buying the pack, you will not regret it. |

Last Friday when the Survival mode was up briefly, I tried to log in there were nobody there. I notice there were 2 rooms: Rex,Ray. So according to what Konami said about the mode 5 players facing danger, I'm hoping a battle against the Gekkos . |

Sounds great....now if only I could buy it. I was annoyed at not being about to buy it even though its been 3 days since they released it and they still can't sort things out and though 'fuck 'em, if they can't get a simple thing like this sorted out then they don't deserve my money' but then I thought 'fuck that, as if Konami are going to care, they're stinking rich and me not buying one little expansion pack isn't going to make a difference so fuck 'em I'm going to buy that goddamn expansion pack and I'm going to damn well enjoy it', trouble is, I still can't buy it. I can't be arsed to keep checking now. I'll wait a week or two and hope Konami have discovered the difference between the magical 'make MGO work properly' button and their backsides.
