Konami has once again proved that they really don't know Shit about online gaming. But I mean atleast they're trying, most Japanese developers look over the online portion of games. Off the top of my head I can't remember a bigger online action Japanese game so we might need to cut them some slack since they are still very new. |

If it became free any time soon after so many people bought it...well that wouldn't end well. This has personally made me stop playing the game for a while. I'm hesitant, I really don't feel like wasting any more money on a video game, but I don't want to play without the expansion because I heard Johnny and Meryl are uber to play with. So I don't wanna pick up the game and get my ass kicked by them but not have the ability to use them. |

I'd like to buy it. But whenever I click the 'MGO shop' it gives me a black screen. Except for the top of the page sayiing 'Metal Gear Online shop' the rest is blank.

I feel your pain, I convince my dad to use his check card on it since I don't have one (he's particular about buying offline), and then I can't get through, he gets fed up waiting (can't say that I blame him) and now it will probably be even longer before I get it. -sigh-

If anyone can buy a Visa card for like 25 bucks you can use that. (you know, those gift cards that work as a debit card, because it works!). I did that couple days ago and it worked fine. |

Ok, I have a question... I got lucky and got the GENE expansion about a day and a half after it initally launched... Everything seemed fine at first. I have the maps, I have the new skills, but... There's a problem. I am not allowed to activate the unique characters ( Meryl and AKIBA ) durring ANY of my games. The options for unique characters shows up as follows " ---- ----". I have heard of no one else who's had this problem. Is there a certain requirement in-game ( aside from spending the 14.99 ) in order to have access to these characters? I can use them in training mode, but -- again, I have NO ACCESS to them when in the CREATE GAME function. What is going on? |

I quite like it. 2 of the 3 maps i love..it's just the Sewers map which i am absolutely bloody awful at. Unique characters are cool, but i HATE being Johnny!!! Amount of times i've been owned whilst doing a shit, its not fair!!! Edited by Kippax, Jul 21 2008, 08:38 AM.
