This is basically to share praise to the best poem and lyrics topics of the week, to congratulate whom has created a truly masterful piece. Starting with this week, I want to congratulate JCC on his poem, "Rinse & Repeat." For it's very true and very sad message about the working economy of today. Keep up the great work, JCC.

Not to take away from your thunder Rich (it really was a fantastic poem) but is this going to work? Out of the twelve topics posted here in the last 30 days, JCC has posted nine of them.

I certainly know a thing or two about poetry! I'd love this thread to be revived, though I find I can only write a beutiful poem when I really have the inspiration. Like earlier on this week, a medical student of mine was really sweet and on her first day of placement even gave me an apple (I found that cute on so many levels), well I looked at the apple and I knew its place in nature and the beauty of it. I think we all need to get some inspiration about something we are passionate about and keep this little forum segment alive! I'll try to inspire myself to write something, normally I get flashes of the melodic structure of a poem in an instant when I see something beutiful. C'mon boys and girls! like the gameshow in that movie says - "You can do better!" *High cheekboned grin* |
