From the MGO homepage: "We are glad to announce that we are giving away a massive 500 Reward Points for every new character created and registered on "METAL GEAR ONLINE"!! All you have to do is simply to create and register a character in "METAL GEAR ONLINE" between 12/06/2008 and 02:00 on 17/7/2008 (BST)" note that the close date was the day before the expansion launched (along with the PLUS extra character option). I.e. Konami trying to tempt people to pay full price for an extra slot before the special offer. But seeing how badly things have been screwed up, my theory is that they've given 500 to everybody regardless. Still want to know what "facing danger" in survival entails though |

Alright guys the Reward Shop is open now, I just checked it few mints ago and got me a DPM camo for my helmet. The good Items are high points, like the beret and the camo for the cloth is 1500.

Yes you can, you sign in just like the community page, your ID and pass. I bought the camo for the only character I've been using since June. Camo for the rest of the upper and lower body totals to 3000 DP, so that means we gotta wait till the survival mode comes up and make more points. |

It was up when I accessed it at 3am EST, eveything was running smoothly. Checked it again couple hours later and it was down again SOBs  , Manged to buy me a camo for my helmet, thats all I could spend the rest were damn expensive. The survival mode is accessible right now, there are 8 players in there including me but I can't find any games to join, when I try to create a game it gives me "Survival mode is not up yet".

survival mode isnt open yet, i even tried to create a team, it says "its not open yet" maybe ill check later on. reward shop is totally not working for me. |

Well my friend like rayofdom stated, it won't let u create a game or join one cuz every time u try it said Survival mode not open. But its up you can enter the lobby and check out the rules and the maps thats all. I'm gonna recheck the Reward shop again tonight at the same time(3:00am EST-8:00 GMT) see if its open again.Oh and btw I noticed when I checked the reward shop it said Otacon's glasses will be available soon.
