I went onto Amazon today looking at the stuff i bought. I got Subsistence brand new for £28 a good while ago. And i looked at it now and it said ' Metal Gear Solid 3 : Subsistence' from £62'. £62??? I thought it was a misprint so i checked it out, and 2nd hand it's going for £62 AT CHEAPEST! Then i looked at it new at there was 2 copies: 1 for £150 and the other for £300! Is this because (supposedly) the MGS series is over and the extras can't be found now? Or what? |

300 pounds? That's got to be a mistake, or else the seller is missing part of his brain. I sold a few copies on ebay some time ago for 20 or 25 pounds each.

Yeah Substance and Subsistence have been out of press for ages, plus MGS4 hype still hasn't died down so people are paying more for stuff. |

I was going to trade in my copy for my MGS4 pre-order but was only offered less than AUD$10 so i ended up giving it to one of my mates who was looking for a copy, couldn't be bothered with the whole ebay thing... only problem is now he wants my copy of digital graphic novel free too! |

Few copies on eBay UK right now going for £50-70 a piece. Naturally when MGS is still in the public eye like this, anything MGS-related will sell for many times it's original value. |

Nah, it's better to have it for yourself as a real fan. Chances are you'll sell it to someone who will wait longer and sell it at a higher price, ripping off more fans. It's your choice though, but no way i'm selling mine!

Cheapest price, £60?! Simply ridiculous I was hoping to get a copy as well, I would get Snake Eater, but I want the original MG1 and 2. Stupid prices though. |

But......I picked MGS3 Substance off Ebay in November for €27 And MGS2 Special Edition & Document for €23. So maybe its the MG4 Hype kicking off. |

Yeah, I saw that, too. I made the mistake of selling MGS1, Special Missions and Sons of Liberty a few years ago at a car boot as I needed money for new games, lol, I was only about 15, though. I had Substance already and decided SoL was pretty useless to have. I regretted selling MGS1 soon after, though; luckily got a copy off eBay about 2 years ago. I decided not to make the mistake again... still have both Snake Eater and Subsistence, although Snake Eater is more of a back-up MGS3. |

I bought a copy last week. £50 inc p&p. Mint condition though. Probably one of few special edition PS releases that is actually worth something. |
