You get kicked for using a weapon most people dont a helluva lot more? Right now my prime example is the Shotgun. Seriously if you spot me from 10-15m away and you have the M4 Spray n Pray machine, and you don't kill me with it right then and there. You deserved to get your self nailed by my M870-Custom. Honestly in MGO you practically have to get to 3rd Base with the person your trying to kill for the gun to be of any use. Then again, maybe the fact that I dominated the red team at M.M when they were just camping it out with snipers had something to do with me getting kicked. Though in the shotguns defense I have to say since the update it has become slightly more use able than before. Now that they increased the range slightly for the Over The Shoulder knock down, and Auto Aim, "stun frame", its a bit easier to use. That and I'm finally happy they reduced the cost down to 750 Drebin Points instead of 1000. And finally moved the Slugs, and V-rings down to 2000. However, there still seems to be no lovin' for the Saiga-12 Yet. My other complaint is that I'm starting to get kicked for using the Mosin Nagant. Honestly I don't think people realize how much skill it takes to effectively use the Mosin Nagant. Sure its easy at a distance but, lately with more and more popularity of the M4 custom, pretty soon I'm gonna have to get really creative with my Mosin stunning. The perfect example of this was at A.A. To me one of the worst places to use the Mosin Nagant. So I spawn and get my Mosin Nagant and then I head up to the roof area by my spawn and go prone. And I headshot someone across the map and get a bunch of Drebin Points. And since I had monomania on my friend mops him up for me so the guy doesn't get smart about my sniping spots. Now this goes on for awhile as I'm moving around the map. And then on the screen I see. "Ninja you ####### ### ### nub" followed by: "(Insert Player Name) - LoudAssNinja, Kick this player?" I proceeded to laugh of course as I was voted out by the other team, because I out classed their beloved M4 Custom, with a bolt action .22 rifle. But honestly I just feel that more an more its hard for me to enjoy a good game where I can just play and have fun because all of these immature kids can't take the heat of a little competition. Then again I can't really talk about kids being 17. anyone else feel this way? |

No, I HATE the shotgun. But I do believe it's my own fault for getting my ass blasted on with a shotty. I always make sure I cap the head of a shotty user. You know what, I'm gonna start using the Shotty thanks to this thread. |

The shotgun is a formidable weapon, it has been the cause of my demise in many games. But I, as well, have been kicked for playing to well. I hate it when it happens, stupid kids.

Ah ha. Well here's funny story. I was playin tonight like I always do. And you know what I realized when I spawned? The shotgun, m14, and DSR-1 were all banned! So of course I used the Mosin Nagant, and I save up enough points after 4-5 stun headshots, to get my beloved RPG-7. So I take my RPT-7 and I fire it off into the crowds and swarms of people and mop up the stragglers with my GSR. only to get the message "The Host has ended the game". So, after awhile I see another room join it, and guess what?! Its the same guy. In what's now a full room. So I say screw it. It cant get any worse, he just probably forgot to lock the RPG-7 the last time. No. It got hella worse. He locked: M14EBR SVD Mosin Nagant DSR-1 RPG-7 Saiga-12 M870 Custom G18C Book Satchel Basically. Anything I had used last round. So I just said screw it and left. Maybe one of these days I should just host a Drebin Points game, where there is no M4 Custom, or Grenades, so all of these little 14 year olds can get a feeling of what its like when my favorite weapons are gone. |

Got my new maps tonight so I thought why not test them out. I join a TDM on T.T new to the map I run around like a headless chicken, the enemy team is using shotguns and am usin vz(Makes sense close rage level so shot gun makes sense) I'm doin quite well didn't get killed once, but unlike my other team mates runnin around with M14's and getting pumped up full of lead and then they start MOANING THAT ONLY NOOBS USE SHOTGUNS...OMG. I mean you playing a level where most battles end up being close range so shotguns makes a perfect weapon for that not M14. M14 is a sniper yet people treat it like a smg, well anyway all the shotgun people got kicked including me for calling a host a whining little sod followed by few yo mamma jokes. Just played a TDM on G.G. The host was BIG BO55 and that guy is such a cunt. I was on their team and the whole team spawn camped with svd's. I go blue and clear out the spawn then advance to their spawn kill few people and now the tables have turned we are in their spawn. Few minutes after I get kicked. I swear am gonna find a way to punch people over the internet on mgo, honestly some people just sit at home getting nothing done with their lifes and have this false power given to them and they think they all that and shit. That's why I'm not a kill whore. I snipe on good maps, and I don't make it a point to get 4 kills in a row. That way I can kick ass, and none's the wiser. |

Well honestly know I didn't realize this because i never been kicked for using a weapon, a matter of fact I can honestly say in my game that everyone usually just says "no" whenever someone initiates a kick and the person who initiated it always exclaims why and if it's team killer then it's kicked. They don't even kick people with no bars anymore unless they actually experience lag. On another note, I was going to say "stupid kicks suck" or whatever but I couldn't but help to notice all the M4 bashing you did to make me think a little "is this guy a kid too?" no offense. They're doing a good job balancing guns. Mosin and Sniper rifle gets the advantage of taking 50 damage per shoot if not instant kill from head shot all from a safe and easy distant but has disadvantages as well, the assault rifles give you good spray of gunfire but you have to run up closer to your opponents putting you in a position where you can be easily sniped or killed from someone who came in from your blind spot. I could go on and on about weapons advantages and disadvantages. I'm just saying if you're going to complain about people complaining about you using a certain weapon don't bash another. |

Konami should just get rid of the stats. That's why people get pissed cuz they don't want their stats to go down. I mean, if they didn't matter would anyone get pissed for dying too much? Or would anyone spawn camp to increase their kill count? BTW, whenever I get into a game where people use shotguns all the time and I can't win using weapons I normally use, I turn the tables and use the shotgun on them. It's annoying to me personally but I've used it before. In fact, in this one game I used the Saiga-12 and completely owned the team of shotgun users. Some stopped using the shotgun altogether. Funny thing is, none on those people managed to get enough DP to use the Saiga-12. Always the M870. And it can't be preference cuz the Saiga-12 owns the M870. |

I got so mad tonight, I was playing a ZOMBIE Match and I was the last human left alive and the damn people kick me instead of just killing me. Literally 30 secs after I became the last human I was kicked. |

Hey guys. Only discovered the joy of shotgun yesterday. Had to alter my style (i'm usually a assault rifle, level 3 master , head shot kind of guy) but I had much more fun. I find it works REALLY well on Blood Bath. Quick question, can anyone tell me whats so good about the Slug ammo? Used it and it never once knocked anyone off there feet. Oh while im at it how much shots with V-ring ammo does it take to stun someone? Cheers guys

At least with the way those kids go, they'll probably never get laid in their lifetime, literally. Thats why Im kinda glad MGO pisse's me off cos when I say F**k it and quit a game, I can go and do something which is more interesting with my life. |

Slug ammo is better for medium ranged attacks, buck shot isn't really useful at a distance. As for the V-Ring ammo, in most cases 2 or 3 will knock someone out. |

If i'm honest i don't like people who use the shotgun V me. Why? Because i get owned. A lot of the time i just run around like a headless chicken so i run into a lot of close encounters. I keep getting stuffed at ToT now, because it's very close, and i'm still getting a feel for the place. In other words, i ask for it. As for the Mosin Nagant, i love it! As you said Konoha there is a certain way of using it, and it's the only sniper i am happy to pick up and use. Probably the gun i use most in MGS4 too! As for kids, wel i ain't no adult but i'm not a kid either, and even if i get really pissed because i'm getting stuffed, i would never kick someone for being good. That's pathetic. |

I agree with you on some points. It is rather stupid to kill someone when using a certain weapon, but... I must say, in all honesty. The shotgun is a shit weapon, it's just a lame weapon, that seriously, requires no skill at all. Use it if you must, I don't care, I rarely encounter people using it, and if I do I usually kill them faster then they kill me. The most annoying part on the shotgun is the idiotic 'stun' you get when shot, someone can keep shooting at you, and you can't do shit. When you finally managed to aim at someone using a shotgun, he'll just shoot you, so you get the stun, and therefore: lose your aim. Which is just the most annoying thing ever. And now about the Mosin Nagant, sure, it's a good weapon, that requires a lot of skill. But why? I don't understand why anyone should use it, it's pretty much useless. Getting stunned is the most annoying shit ever, seriously, I'd rather get killed then get stunned. It;s ridicilous, your team hardly ever helps you, especially in the line of sniper fire. The time to wake up is ridicilous, and most of the time, when I'm almost awake, some retard comes along, stands in front of me, aims exactly on my head, and shoots. They need to fix the time, or just make it go to 2 psyche bars, not all 4. Then again, I would never kick someone for using those weapons in combat, it's just annoying at times. Also, that stuff about 14 year old kids doing shit like that, sure some do, but that's bullshit. There are people who are 20+ who do shit like that, it's not just 'kids'. |
