Question, please help; so if Snake was the inferior one...

"Yes, the inferior one was victorious after all.......until the end Liquid believed HE was the inferior one." So if Liquid was superior all along, then why does Snake look like Big Boss? To me it would make sense that Snake would be the blonde haired brit running around and Liquid would look like BB. Or keep it the way it was and go make BB look like Liquid with blonde hair in MGS3. Or maybe I'm just beeing nit-picky... either way, any thoughts?

During that briefing you can see he has long blonde hair, then he says something about changing his image so that he "- Is not mistaken for the terrorist leader". The genes only give Dominant Traits, hair and look are cosmetic and changable, but Solid had to change his look are he may be mistaken for his twin. Hope this helps! Their differences are due to life style and changes to hair etc. At least that is what the differences should be because of. The superior and inferior gene part are simply which are "expressed" and shouldn't alter physical structure./

Yes, the message was summed up by Naomi's admonishment to Snake in the end that we mustn't allow ourselves to be chained to fate and ruled by our genes. Perhaps Liquid's fight with Solid would have gone down differently had he not had a view that he was ruled by his genes. Their superficial traits were not related to who was genetically closest to Big Boss. Much of superficial development is related simply to environmental factors. Scientists have recently shown that even "race" comes down primarily to environmental factors. I'm no scientist myself, I'm basing this on what I learned in biology and some articles I read in science journals regarding genetics and "race". He did borrow some scissors from Naomi and cut his hair. Nothing was said about dye, though. The color of the briefing scenes is strange, so I don't think it accurately portrayed Snake's hair color. At any rate, I assume him to be naturally brown-haired. I can't see Snake keeping up a dye job all through Sons of Liberty until he goes gray.
