Ok so, first post on this forum and after looking around I didn't see a question similar to what I'm about to ask. Basically I want to know if the rank guide listed for MGO 1 is actually valid for MGO 2. The reason I ask is because according to that calculator posted in the other thread, I meet the requirements for Hound and even better for Dob but I can't get those ranks. Anyone know if they're changed or have become stricter? Currently a level 7 eagle :<. Sorry again if this has been asked before in advance. Edited by BerserkFury, Aug 24 2008, 08:52 PM.

I'm not too sure about the MGO1 ranks... But how is your win - loss ratio? (Altogether and separately) You need a good ratio for good ranks like those. And welcome to the forums

Well I asked because this link here: http://mangemuck.ej.am/mgo/rank.php from the subsistence forums, calculates ranks and whats needed to rank up. At the moment I have a 1.5 kill:death and according to that calculator meet requirements for rank up. My win loss ratio for games other than TDM are low and still not above 50% for win to loss. Was just curious if they had changed it :x. Edited by BerserkFury, Aug 24 2008, 11:10 PM.

Yeah you'll definitely need a good win - loss ratio for all game modes. |

In answer to your question, no it's not. I've heard though, you need something like a 1.2 K/D ratio in each mode with more wins than losses to get one of them ranks, cant quite remember where i heard it though. |

I think it's all based on consistency. I know I have had well over the needed K/D for certain ranks at times, and win loss, but I think it all depends on how well you do consistently. If you start doing well and win match after match, you will go up in rank. Just a couple of losses can probably lower your rank even if you meat certain requirements. |

I got Hound when I had at least over 0.5 games won (in all modes, expect Deathmatch) and I had over 1.2 ratio. |
