Greetings, chaps. My name is Jack, though I have chosen Oblique as my title for this particular account. If there is a decision I sincerely relish making, it is that of an internet identity. How can one make this choice both meaningful and original? How can one abstain from ubiquity? These, among other things, are what keep me up at night. Many thanks, many thanks. the_cobbinator: It is indeed a typographical reference. I consider italics to be the most beautiful of glyphs, but such perfection is unattainable in a mortal sense; thus, I opted for its close, yet skewed cousin, the oblique face. Null: I do have a habit of speaking loquaciously. I believe my father bestowed this on me, and I cannot say it has worked poorly in my favor, aside from, as you may expect, my early social endeavors. |
