Do we have any MLB baseball fans on this website and if so which team do you cheer for? I'm a huge Chicago Cubs fan since I live in Chicago and I live and Die with them. I watch them every chance I get. The Cubs are currently in 1st place in the NL Central and I'm feeling pretty good about this year. I hope the losing will finally end. Carlos Zambrano for CY Young! |

I bleed Cubbie blue, and I am so happy with the season so far it's unbelievable. I'm so glad Fontenot is doing well, too. He's type of ballplayer I love to watch. |

wow!! 2 of 3 posts here are from cubs fans!! i grew up out here and have been rooting for the cubbies since i was in my mothers womb. havent missed watching a single game all year.. this is the year guys!! chicagos gonna be one crazy place come october! |

baseball is the greatest goddamn sport. end. hahah that "fight" between the dodgers and phils was awesome. victorino is straight pimp. the phillies have this series if they can just get everyone to focus and play good. Howard is babe ruth incarnate (if he wouldnt strike out so much), rollins is better than derek jeter at hitting, and utley is a beast. They just need to put it all together and they can have postseason success. But at the same time...damn i love manny and the history of the dodgers, itd be nice if they won the series...but they live in L.A. no one would appreciate it. theyd go to the afterparty and just talk about what celebrity was there. I know its aincent history nowadays, but i still say the best years for baseball drama was 03-04. yankees v redsox man that shit was intense. so many fights...ahh... im so proud of the rays. I know no one ever gives them a chance but they are like the cincinnatti reds to me. great talent but alot of flops....well the rays turned it around this year. B.J. Upton is a monster, and his brother Justin over here in Arizona will be one too. Kudos to the rays for getting Garza from the twins, i saw that guy pitch in triple A rochester and he was nasty. haha Josh Beckett isnt perfect in the post-season anymore. haha yeah poor metties. but not really, i couldve seen this coming. they always lose focus, they arent really the best team in the NL East (as i said before thats the Phillies if all parts work together at the same time). losing cliff floyd hurt them at the plate. they used to be so dangerous and now...they still are, but not as much. they keep trying with rookies and its biting them in the ass. Johan Santana saved that team this year, but they really need to get some good young arms int hat rotation. I love Liriano in minnesota, hes still young, the mets could nab him maybe. congrats to the phillies. Id love to see ryan howard get a ring after the life hes had. rays....oh boy. here it comes. If the blue jays can play as good as they are on paper and the orioles somehow return to their 70s glory, this will be the best division in baseball again. as much as i want the sox to come back and win the world series and be the first team to do it back to back this millenium....im rooting for the rays. good young kids that deserve this, much like the rockies did last year; they just ran into a brick wall. |
