Help me guys. I can see myself lying dead in these visions that plauge me. Maybe I'm scared about going to Iraq. But it's not just me. I look at people and see their faces like sliding off their skulls when nothings really happening at all. I'm losing my fuckin' mind guys and i gotta get help. Please post back

I agree with iAn there. I mean as much as we would like to help. I don't think there is anything we can do to help you out here. I mean We can try but we are not professionals. If going to see someone dosn't help just try telling someone every detail of what your feeling. Maybe having someone just know what you feel might help a little? Find someone you can trust or someone who is good with that stuff or just good at listing. |

Including your own. They had better grasp the intensity of what you're dealing with and treat it. If treatment is inefficacious, you must not be sent into a situation that could cost you and others your lives. I greatly hope the military is doing their job in terms of psychological care, but can't vouch either way. See what resources you can find. My thoughts and prayers are with you, even if it doesn't count for much. EDIT: He's 15?

Crazy thread, maybe his birthdate is actually 1983, not 1993? I often write mine as 1987 or even 1997 sometimes, but I'm pretty stupid. For now I'm gonna give the guy the benefit of the doubt and advise that you get yourself discharged from the armed forces on medical grounds, it's natural to be scared about going on a tour, but fuck man, what your seeing sounds like an acid party. |

I'm going to submit my opinion that he's talking about the possibility of him going to Iraq, seeing's how he's apparently fifteen and all. At any rate, it kinda seems to me like you have an over-active imagination. I hate to be the one to down-play it, but it seems like you're getting bored in class, and the use of loaded words makes it sounds like you're being fake about it anyways. |

I don't know, this seems a bit fishy, namely adding a smilie when you're fucked up apparently. And seriously though, who in the right mind would come to this place for advice on psychological trauma? I hate to say it, but it sounds like grade-A attention seeking. But at any rate, seek military help, if it's true, the army has psychiatrists who can help. He's 15 but he is in the military, the british army I believe although I'm not sure. As for him going to Iraq I'm not sure what he means by that, because in 3 years by the time he'll be eligble to be sent out on an Iraq tour I'm pretty sure we will be out of there by then. The original post does seem a little fabricated and over exageratted though. But I guess that makes no change for the confessions section. |
