MGS3 now don't get me wrong the plot in that is amazing and the way in which it is told is sheer brilliance, but in terms of plot twists and creativity; it doesn't even stand close to the plot in MGS2. Big Boss' mentor The Boss defects but in the end it turns out that she isn't bad and that Eva is instead somewhat, obviously there's much more to it, however that basically the list of originality in terms of story from Kojima. MGS1 is also amazing and until just recently was my favourite game storyline of all time. Snake has to stop terrorist threat, The government tell Noami to inject Snake with Foxdie to kill the terrorists of specific genetic code, but Noami also did it for vengence to kill Solid Snake himself. Epic. However not as good as MGS2's storyline still. MGS2 has the greatest storyline ever, perhaps not the way in which it is told, but the character developments, the massive plot twists, the innovation after innovation from Hideo Kojima. Solidus stumbles across the S3 plan thanks to Ocelot and believes it to be the Solid Snake Simulation, Ocelot is in fact a Patriot spy and reveals the true nature of the S3 plan The Selection for Societal Sanity. Sheer genius. This was the game in which the Patriots were invented the most crucial creation in the whole of MGS. Kojima really out did himself here, he really must have thought long and hard to produce such exquisite storyline material such as the flow of digital information, dictatorships, conspiracies, envionmental disasters all thrown together to create a story of love and betrayal through the use of Artifical intelligence and political conspiracies. It is complete genius. I have come to realise how great the plot is, after about the 20th playthrough now that I completely understand the storyline, please play the game again and listen carefully; the complications turn into genius when understood properly. Best MGS storyline ever.

Personally, and not because Substance is my favourite game ever, but it's my favourite story in gaming history. But it is very complicated.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater	I loved the Storyline, that was great, but I hated the controls and some of the gameplay (only some). There was something.. I don't know.. stiff about it. Maybe it's just me.

Ok lets try get back on topic ok? I don't think that MGS3's story is as good as MGS2. MGS3 was more straightforward, but still brilliant. MGS2 was absolutely amazing. You just kept getting thrown back and forward, and never really knew what was the truth.

On topic: I admit that the plot in MGS2 is one of the best I've seen.... Spoiler: click to toggle The S3 plan, Arsenal Gear, the whole cover up with the Tanker incident, and that the whole Plant incident was a simluation of the Shadow Moses incident....Did you guys started too suspect during the game that playing on the Plant chapter started to remind you a little bit of Shadow Moses....Except when Ocelot tells to Raiden that ''We're also inside the memory of Shadow Moses''...Did you started to draw any differences, during the game, between the two events? And i never expected that the truth was that it was basically a complete remake of the Shadow Moses incident. But i did notice, a lot, how many things were coincidentally similar to things that happened in the Shadow Moses incident. So it all made complete sense then.
