yea, its 3 rays on easy, 5 or 6 on normal, and then like 12 or some shit on hard, then 20 on extreme and European is all 25 i believe. Cant remember too well for them but its close |

Koik, something happened to me last week when I was logging out of MGSF. I had a couple screens to go—I looked up and saw a glowing orange object at my ceiling, to the left! It was moving very irregularly... Suddenly, there was intense light all around me—and when I came to, I was at 4chan. What do you think happened to me? For future reference, you can avoid the Colonel's nuttery for a short time by staying on the first floor and not going upstairs until you get to the opposite end of the RAY hangar. |

An anemone or Clematis plant's juice can cause a rash. When pruning them, it's a good idea to wear gloves. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXtXHaiUFzM Try watching this guy on normal. To be honest, he could use a lot of practice, but he's alright. It may help you pass this part of the game. You must not give in! Try starting the fight by hitting them in the mouths when you can, if you're not fast enough, knee, then mouth. Just hit all three at any time you can, hit one for a mouth shot, switch to the next. After you damage one enough, it'll come in. Roll to avoid being knocked down by it landing, and stay in close so it won't launch it's leg missiles. Basically, then you just destroy it. Knee, mouth when you can, but a good tactic is circling it close so it goes for the hydro jet attack, but since you're running, it'll miss you and you can shoot it in the open mouth. At this point, you can go for knee, mouth on another Ray outside, if you're feeling confident as it recharges. Then a new one will arrive, and just repeat. It helps if you can stand on some stinger ammo, as it respawns. Basically, don't give the Rays a chance to attack you. Even then, their attacks are easily avoided, though the leg missiles, (which you shouldn't be having them launch at you) can be an issue. I did this fight on Extreme with no health, because I absolutely hate the Tengus on Ex. The Rays are MUCH easier. Apologies for mad babble. |

Same here, though the last time I got to this part of the game on Hard, I was running kinda low on LIFE and Stinger Ammo, and Rations are in short supply during the fight against the RAYs... |

To me the Rays arent really that hard but if its extreme or God help you euro extreme it can be a real pain. |
