Okay guys, this is a request thread, first here's a little back story. At my job I can listen to music all day, that's about 8 hours worth of music. Well for the past 3 months I've been hearing all my songs over and over again to the point where I'm Just sick of them. What I would like from the general god fearing population of MGSF is so new music recommendations before I go Illegally Mad . Doesn't matter the Genre or the language, I listen to them all...just that I don't have the time anymore to do my own research on good new and classic songs. Please drop me some Good tunes right here and I will greatly appreciate it, If I like your songs enough you may even get a warn deduction :P. |

Here's a track for you with a direct download link =) Don't worry, it's not illegal, cause it's from a site where people upload tracks they make themselves, so it's not under any record company. It's a norwegian site, though. So songs there are mostly norwegian, including this one. But I think it's good =) It's rap, and I don't know if you like that, but here's the link ![]() http://www11.nrk.no/urort/1.0/track/download/160164.mp3 |

You're complaining about work far too much; you need more music, it seems... even if it's my "tasteless crap" as some might say. So yeah...
So, umm... yeah. Listen to that and shut up about how you don't wanna go to work.

Muikuli is right. He 'made' me listen to it a few weeks ago, and it was pretty fuckin' awesome. It's a great band, I definitely need to check out more by Porcupine Tree myself. In any case, here are some of mine recommendations, there's a small chance you'll actually like some, but it's worth a shot eh? I'm just gonna put down albums instead of songs, since that is way easier. Megadeth - Rust In Peace I'm really not sure if you would like this, but I came around that you listened to some rock/metal so yeah. In any case, try to check out this album if you will, and see what you think. It's always interesting trying out new stuff, at least for me it is. Hope you feel the same about it. Ill Bill - The Hour of Reprisal Null showed me this one a while ago, and I like it a lot. It's hip-hop and I know that's mainly your field, heck, I'm not even sure if Null told you to check this out before. It has metal influences, especially the lyrics, and some guitar. Which is why I love it, it's mostly rap, barely actually metal to be honest. Ill Bill uses a lot of references in his lyrics to rock/metal legends though, and also he's one hell of a rapper. Go for it. Metallica - The Black Album Best Metallica album? No. I imagine most people liking this one though, since it's the most commercial one. It should provide easy listening cause the songs aren't as heavy as say, Kill 'Em All. So yeah, feel free to check that out. I really don't know what else to recommend, at the moment. Not even sure if you're gonna check the above ones out Like I said, it's worth trying out some new stuff, you might end up liking it |

I'm completely serious. Stray Cats are good as fuck. Their big hit is the song "Rock This Town" but it's definitely not their best. |

I can't be bothered to right a whole list at the moment, but you should listen to ...and justice for all. at 9:48 it will be a long time before you hear another song, therefore less boredom.
Is that bribery I hear? Edited by kkarbo, Sep 26 2008, 03:09 PM.
