Hey everyone I was playin MGS2 recently and noticed something strange...Stillman (the bomb expert guy guy) apprently died at the bottom of strut H where Pliskin found all the C4. But while going to save Emma, you find him in the central core. did i miss something in the cut scenes or is something very wrong here?? Karlos |

He dies in the explosion at the bottom of the strut, which causes the flooding you find when looking for E.E., the flooding water must have swept his dead body up into the area where E.E., which I think is strut F or something, but it isn't the central core. |

I think it must be the place where the bombs were placed. The two valve doors were locked and Stillman was inside the room until Raiden opens the door. He must have been there all the time. |

The main bombs were in Strut A and H if I recall correctly, so as people have said it's most likely he just floated there. |

To add, if you call Snake while looking at him, or in the vicinity, Raiden specifically says "Stillman's here. He was waiting for me." |

Strangely, Snake only seems to give short, sharp answers to this conversation. "Right." *closes convo* This confused me slightly, but I guess Snake isn't one for mourning the dead too much, whereas Raiden seemed slightly more upset when Stillman died. Still, I agree with people here, Raiden got it wrong, Stillman wasn't waiting for him, as I doubt after the bomb exploded, he decided to drag his corpse to the Shell 2 core, and it was just taken with the water, as many have already said. |

I agree with the idea that Stillman probably had just floated there. However, I believe when Raiden said, "Stillman's here. He was waiting for me", that it was just a figure of speach, sort of mellow, and we would all go, "awww"  . If Peter didn't die they were supposed to meet again later after they'd have taken care of the bombs. In my opinion, he didn't mean that Peter was actually alive and waiting there for him.

Still, it is somewhat difficult for me to imagine how the corpse "floated" there when both watertight doors were sealed...

Maybe he wasn't killed in the explosion, but drown trying to escape.
