I think Ivan might be his middle name because Raven calls him General Ivan and also in MGS3 Colonel Volgin says I get revenge for him hurting Ivan or something along those lines.So yeah I think its his middle name. |

Erm...If your talkieng bout MGS3, then Volgin is talking bout Raikov. But Ocelot isn't related to Raikov, "Ivan" was like a popular nickname that was used by the Nazi's during WWII, so it's possible that Raven heared that from somewhere and gave Ocelot this nickname |

I would say that's probably not the case because of the reference to Ivan by Volgin when referring to his... "other lover". Seems to me to indicate a Russian "wussy" or something like that. On a side note, the Tsar Bomb or the RDS-220 hydrogen bomb was kind of a mega bomb developed by the Soviet Union and was tested in 1961 but never entered service. It was codenamed by it's developers as "Ivan". |
