Personally I really liked the game. At times it seemed repetitive at times but hey so does MGS sometimes.

I cant wait for the next in the series :D

You're lying, I've been you

It's okay Shadow Fox. I don't think he remembers when he was new on the forum and made post without checking the forum as well. -_-

Anyway, personally I never beat it. As you mentioned it got a tad repetitive and that couldn't keep me interested long enough to go through with it. A shame cause it was very hyped. Most games now days that are hyped like that seem to be a disappointment.

Feck off!

I enjoyed Assassins Creed (and still do, it's one of the few games that I own). I enjoyed the control dynamics and the story (Crusades? Awesome. Genetic Research? Awesome. Hashshashin? Awesome. The Knights Templar? Double Awesome) and never found it too dull, although I did get rather annoyed hearing the same voice actor for the populations of the two Muslim cities and the exact same lines with a Brummie accent in Acre.

You've Been DC'd.

Yeah, AC was an excellent starting effort for the series and I can't wait to see the next two installments of the trilogy. I really got into the character, much like I do with MGS games... I frequent the AC forums, as well, and the storyline, once you read into it, is really quite intelligent/complex.

I'm not saying there wasn't flaws... most were already mentioned here but, again, if they listen to what people are saying can be improved, then the second installment should be a pretty stellar game.

P.S. Sorry for continuing the discussion in this dual thread... if a mod wants to merge these posts into the old topic, that would be cool.

P.P.S. Jade Raymond is hot... need I say more?

i really liked this game, i can't wait for the second one. It was some-what easy but its also easy to enjoy the ability to go anywhere in the city once you unlock all the regions (rich, poor, etc) finding the flags makes the play through last forever.. i'm still lookin for them.

I just returned AS. It was fun in the beginning but everything is so much the same that I just lost interest.

Where's November?

I loved Assassin's Creed and can't wait for the next 2. I thought the story was epic and the gameplay was truly brilliant (although they could've had a few more investigation types). I loved the whole thing of the scientists being part of the war still raging since Altair's time.
I just hope that next time, the freerunning is a bit more involved than holding one button.

Yeah good game, managed to beat the game within a week, cant wait for the sequels, had a brilliant gameplay, brilliant story, brilliant characters but the only let down was that it was repetitive. This game opened a whole new genre for gaming if you ask me :D
No other game has done anything like this before...well maybe spiderman 2 but that is too unrealistic lol.

I thought it was pretty good, but it ended right as it was getting really interesting. I'm hoping that the next game will forgo Altair entirely and only focus on Desmond.

Nah, In my opinion, Altair is better than Desmond.
Altair is the classic, anime-esque, snobby attitude, "I'm too cool to talk in more than one tone" voiced cliche.

At least Desmond has a personallity.

Yeah, I want to see Desmond doing parkour and using improvised weapons (the pen he picked up, anyone?) in modern time.
