Full Setlist I don't like the whole band thing going on after Rock Band was released, I suppose it must be good if you can afford all the plastic instruments. I'm hopefully going to just buy it for the guitar, which I think is possible? anybody confirm that for me, with the bands singers and other instruments filled in? Also is anyone aware if you can use any of the previous Guitars from the previous games? If so, I'm sure I can pick the game up for 30 odd quid and use my old guitar? Its sure to be an awesome game, the tracks aren't to bad, however I was more excited about GH3's tracklist when that was released.. anybodys else's opinions? Living on a Prayer will be a great play for drunken nights in.. |

It has some good songs, but it also has a lot of shitty songs. I concur with Fear, though I wouldn't say that all of it is shit, though a lot is. Though, it has songs of Hendrix, Black Label Society, Ted Nugent etc So it has some good songs, but also crap like Blink 182, 30 Seconds To Mars etc. Ít's pretty awesome that they got Zakk Wylde and Ted Nugent to a guitar duel, I'm guessing they actually have them, and not just their compositions. Just their compositions would be a tad lame... I'm probably gonna get this game, if I have the cash that is. |

I like the setlist, there's a little bit of everything. But there is one artist there that I have to just shake my head at. ...Coldplay. Should be the easiest song ever with the complicity of their instrumental bits. |

Well, I didn't say ALL of it is shit, but I think most of it is. I wouldn't mind playing the Bob Seger (although they could have picked a much better song), CCR, Dinosaur Jr., Doors, Hendrix, Motorhead, Smashing Pumpkins, Sublime (even though it's one of their big trendy hits, Santeria has always been one of my favorites), Nuge, and Van Halen songs. |

Black Label Society—Stillborn Creedence Clearwater Revival—Up Around the Bend Jimi Hendrix—Purple Haze (Live) Jimi Hendrix—The Wind Cries Mary Korn—Freak on a Leash Ozzy Osbourne—Crazy Train Ozzy Osbourne—Mr. Crowley Rise Against—Re-Education Through Labor Tool—Parabola Tool—Schism Tool—Vicarious Zakk Wylde—Original Guitar Duel Recording those are like the only songs i'd want this game for.. there are other good songs on this game but alot of them i don't consider "guitar hero" worthy |

I actually like a few songs on there, like Filter, Foo Fighters, Blink 182, Oasis, Muse, Nirvana, Lost Prophets, Smashing Pumpkins, SOAD, Modest Mouse, Jimmy Eat World, and a couple others. I like this tracklist better than Rock Band 2's. But... Michael Jackson? lol. |

How come they stole songs from Rock Band 2's setlist? |

They didn't really steal it. I mean, they just added some of the same songs the other game had. Actually, it's quite possible that Guitar Hero: World Tour had some songs before Rock Band 2 had. And if you say that's stealing, or whatever, then Rock Band stole a few songs from GH 1/2/3. |

guitar hero will most likely have the better band kit then Rock Band's but Rock Band 2 has a better song list. |

I agree with this statement a 100% The band kit that GH has literally whipes away the one that Rock Band has. Especially the drum kit. |

^ agreed. I hated the guitar for Rock Band... i use the Les Paul that i got with guitar hero 3. And i'll probably use the new model of GH guitar over RB2's new guitar. The solo buttons are sweet but the guitar just doesn't feel right and the whammy bar sucks on the RB guitar controller |

How come Rockband stole so many songs from Guitar Hero 1? And two, and three? Yeah, it's not stealing. They're songs. That's like saying one radio station plays a song, then another radio station plays it and they say "YOU STOLE OUR SONG" lol. |

They over price guitar hero, $150 for a game and piece of plastic that resembles a guitar, its even worse on rockband but they are damn run, id prefer this to rockband. Its crazy though, they release rockband 2 in U.S before they release RB1 here. -.- |

They stole songs! No, just kidding, but it's different when Rock Band uses songs from GH1, 2, 3 because of the added instruments. I didn't mean to sound like a fanboy (even though I like Rock Band very much), but I just thought it was foolish to choose the same songs for another band oriented game. |

Also, the same people that developed Rock Band developed GH 1 and 2, so it's basically like they're reusing songs that they've already used, but adding extra instruments. |

Just a random question, would all the instruments in Rock Band/Guitar Hero work on the other game. For example, if I got the guitar hero set with Bass, Guitar, Drums and Mic, would they work on Rock Band? Ill spend £150 once to get one set, but fuck me if its ever going to happen again. |

They claim they're cross-compatible, but the thing is the Guitar Hero drums have 3 pads, 2 cymbals and a pedal, whereas the Rock Band drums just have 4 pads and a pedal. I imported Rock Band for PS3 back in April and it is awesome, I'll be importing Rock Band 2 around Christmas. GH:WT may be good, I dunno really. My first game of this sort was GH3 but I pretty much just play drums on Rock Band now. I may get GH:WT with the drums and just use my GH3 guitar with it... WT does have Assassin by Muse as a plus. |
