Today, we're gonna try things a little differently. This script I'm putting here and not in the fan fiction section because it's not actually a fan fic, the script you are about to read is a machinima script that's going to be recorded and made into 4 actual episodes within the next month. I've got all lines recorded for the characters, characters ready for the MGO recording, and what have you. So enjoy the read here, and I'm sure you'll enjoy watching the MGO machinima version soon lads.  EXT. MIDDLE EASTERN MAELSTROM - MARKET ALLEY Two SOLDIERS stand guard as an armored soldier, BLACK KING, approaches them, they salute. BLACK KING Status. SOLDIER ONE Several Rebels were located in the market, heavily fortified with ID weapons, but we dealt with them accordingly. BLACK KING And what of him? SOLDIER TWO Two troops reported spotting him near the western market, when we arrived, our troops were dead, and he was gone without a trace. BLACK KING Keep the search going, nobody leaves this area until we’ve found and killed him, is that understood? BOTH SOLDIERS (both salute) Yes sir. Black King leaves them, they lower their salutes. SOLDIER ONE So who exactly is this guy putting such a hole in our siege? SOLDIER TWO A stupid bastard with a death wish. SOLDIER ONE I dunno, I heard he’s got skills, that he’s taken down entire squads before, and that there’s a chance he may take us all out too... SOLDIER TWO I also heard he’s ridiculously old, which if is true, should outweigh whatever makes this old man such a threat. And God only knows how he’s survived this long. Behind them, stands SNAKE, fitted with facemask, lying on the floor. He rises up and sneaks behind Soldier One. He grabs him, Soldier Two immediately turns to Snake. SOLDIER TWO Son of a bitch! Snake points his gun at Soldier One, he returns by pointing his gun at Snake. Snake slits Soldier One’s throat and throws him to the ground. Soldier Two shoots at Snake, but Snake crouches, approaches Soldier Two and throws him to the ground. Soldier Two rolls over and points his gun at Snake, but Snake takes out his M4 and shoots Soldier Two in the head. Snake, breathing heavily, crouches down on one knee, his face camo removed, revealing his face. SNAKE Otacon, the alley’s clear, no sign of Black King or the other Phoenix operatives though. OTACON (O.S.) Ugh, same on the mark 2’s side. What about the rebels? SNAKE I took the wounded to safety, but the rest were slaughtered by Black King. OTACON (O.S.) You did all you could Snake. SNAKE we can still save the rest of the civilians in the city. SNAKE It won’t be easy, Phoenix is scouting this place like a Hawk. OTACON (O.S.) That shouldn’t stop an old soldier like you now would it? SNAKE Guess not. OTACON (O.S.) The easiest way to bring Black King’s siege to an end, if at least for a short period of time, is through a signal transponder, it calls off the attack and redirects all reinforcements back to their home base. OLD SNAKE How am I gonna get my hands on one of those? OTACON (O.S.) It’s generally the on-sight commanders who possess them, so in this case, that would be Black King. OLD SNAKE So in order to call off the Phoenix siege is by eliminating Black King and taking his transponder, huh? OTACON (O.S.) Right, and if Sunny’s research is correct, Black King should be further north. Find him and get his transponder, make that sadist pay for this genocide, Snake! SNAKE With pleasure. Snake gets up and slowly sneaks towards the market buildings. EXT. MIDDLE EASTERN MAELSTROM - CENTRAL MARKET AREA Snake stops and presses against the wall, disappearing with Octocamo as two SOLDIERS, RIFLES pointed forward scout out the streets from the central entrance. They stop, look around, rifles pointed forward, the front soldier signals (SOP Call) to the other soldier. SOLDIER THREE Clear! The two continue slowly scouting out the area. Snake sneaks past them and enters the central alley entrance. EXT. MIDDLE EASTERN MAELSTROM - VAN AREA IN ALLEY Snake sneaks toward a van and stops and points his M4 forward. The view turns to the end of the alley, Black King stands at the end, by his sides are two soldiers, both M4’s pointed forward. BLACK KING Ahhhh....so glad you could make it, Snake. I was beginning to worry you’d have a stroke on your way here. I’m glad I get to watch you die in person. OLD SNAKE It’s a pity you don’t have it in you to kill me yourself. BLACK KING One of the benefits to commanding an immense army of fully trained soldiers is that I don’t have to. (turns to soldiers) Kill him. Black King walks off as the soldiers point their M4’s at the van and shoot at it. Snake side jumps to the left near the broken buildings to avoid being hit by the exploding van. Snake peaks the corner and shoots at the two soldiers, but they return fire, forcing him back to cover. The two get up and sneak towards Snake’s side, both rifles pointed forward. Snake looks in first person view while laying on the ground by the corner to see them approaching. OLD SNAKE Damn... Snake gets up and side rolls out in the open. He lands on one knee and fires his M4 at the soldiers, killing one, the second soldier shoots back at Snake while walking backwards. Snake hides behind the destroyed van, then looks to the wall on his right. He runs towards the wall and crouches against it until his octo-camo hides him. The soldier, meanwhile runs towards the dumpster area and hides next to it, reloading his weapon. He presses against the wall and leans over his shoulder. Snake appears against the wall behind him as his octo-camo deactivates, and shoots the soldier in the head, killing him. But then two more Soldiers appear to the right of the dumpster. Snake spots them and runs behind the dumpster as they shoot at Snake, hitting the dumpster as he hides. Snake reloads his M4 and lays down on the ground, then he rolls out in the open, and shoots at the two Soldiers. One soldier drops while the other shoots back at Snake, shooting him in the arm. Snake grunts in pain and puts on his face mask, pressing down on the floor as his body vanishes. SOLDIER FOUR What the...?! Where’d he go?! The soldier points his gun at the floor where Snake was and keeps shooting at it until he reloads his gun. SOLDIER FOUR Come on out and face me you coward! Snake reappears behind him, face camo on, M4 pointed behind the soldiers head. SNAKE If you say so... Snake shoots the soldier in the back of the head. EXT. MIDDLE EASTERN MAELSTROM - BLOCKADE SPAWN AREA Snake sneaks into the concrete brigade side of the spawn point, gun pointed forward. He ducks behind one as across from the trench appears Black King, looking up. DREAMSCAPE (O.S.) There have been a number of distress signals from your units SOP network, Black King, I thought you said you had everything under control. BLACK KING I do sir, we faced heavy resistance, but they’ve been disposed of, the entire city will be under our control, thing is, the rebels have someone else backing them. DREAMSCAPE (O.S.) Snake.. BLACK KING Don’t worry, I have that taken care of as well... DREAMSCAPE (O.S.) I assume you mean you’ve disposed of him already. BLACK KING Not yet. Snake gets up from hiding and slowly sneaks toward Black King, gun pointed forward. DREAMSCAPE (O.S.) We can’t afford him meddling with our affairs, not when we are this close. BLACK KING He’s nothing but an old man with a gun, when I get a hold of him, I’ll handle the matter.... (turns and points his M60 at Snake) ...Commander.....our problem is about to be solved. Snake and Black King stand across from each other on both sides of the trench, rifles pointed at one another. BLACK KING You know, I’m actually glad you’re alive Snake, it will give me the pleasure of putting your miserable life to an end. OLD SNAKE You shouldn’t entrust your goons with disposing of me, Black King. BLACK KING Apparently so. But tell me Snake, you kill me here, then what, you go after every stronghold we’ve taken control of? You’ll be feeding yourself to the wolves. Snake keeps his gun pointed at Black King, who chuckles. BLACK KING Our other strongholds carry much larger amounts of our operatives than this city, but if you truly wish for an early grave... Snake steps forward, pointing his gun at Black King. OLD SNAKE The only one headed to an early grave is you. I’ll go after the territories your people have sieged, and I’ll free them one by one, but not before I kill you. BLACK KING Face it, this is no place for you, OLD man. We are trying to create a new level of power the worlds military, there is no room for weakness. And that you cannot understand what Phoenix is trying to accomplish is of no concern to us. OLD SNAKE All you’ve accomplished is killing countless innocent people. BLACK KING In this proxy war, Snake, no one is truly innocent... Black King fires at Snake, who jumps forward in the trench and shoots at Black King, nailing him a few times before he steps back and tosses a smoke grenade forward. Snake is caught in the grenade and trapped, coughing as the smoke rises up. Black King steps toward the smoke and unloads a full clip into the smoke. He reloads as it fades away, but when it does, Black King steps forward, realizing Snake is gone. Black King steps inside the trench and looks around, while by the blockade lays Snake, in his octocamo, wearing face camo, pointing his gun at Black King. Suddenly, Snake grunts from the smoke, catching Black King’s attention, he looks toward the blockade as Snake coughs more and more. Black King responds by firing at the ground near the blockade, forcing Snake to roll out from cover and return fire. Black King runs up toward the concrete protectors and hides behind one as Snake rises up, crouches low and sneaks towards Black King’s position. Snake gets up and side rolls out to the concrete section, Black King gets up from behind one of the blockades and shoots at Snake, nailing him a few times, but Snake returns fire, forcing Black King back to cover. Black King reloads his rifle, Snake hides behind the sandbags and reloads his M4 as well. The two go out in the open again and shoot at each other, Snake is shot a few times, but Black King goes down after being shot repeatedly. Black King coughs up blood and lays on the floor, breathing heavily, Snake approaches him and points his M4 at Black King’s head. BLACK KING It doesn’t end here, old man... SNAKE For them, maybe, but as for you... (shoots him in the head) I’m not so sure. Black King’s radio goes off on his body. TOUCHSTONE (O.S.) Touchstone reporting in, Dreamscape informed us that you had a snag with Snake...did you deal with him? Snake stands silently over Black King’s body. TOUCHSTONE (O.S.) Did you deal with him? Black King, respond! OTACON (O.S.) Wait! Snake, put on your face camo, you can use the nano-transponders on the jawbone portion of the mask to disguise your voice as Black King. Snake puts his mask on, pauses, then stands up. TOUCHSTONE (O.S.) Black King, report. SNAKE Otacon, tell me, if I use his radio to report back to the others, can you hack into the radio receivers signal and relocate their relay point to their point of origin? OTACON (O.S.) You mean so you can find out where their signal is coming from? Well, it may take some time, but yeah, keep him talking long enough and I think we can pull it off. RED VIPER (O.S.) Black King, please report. Snake crouches near Black King’s body, beeping rings out. Snake’s voice now sounds like Black King’s. SNAKE (Black King voice) Target was neutralized, I told you I could handle that old man, though my entire unit has been wiped out. (pauses) And our transport has been sabotaged. RED VIPER (O.S.) Is it still operable? OTACON (O.S.) Snake, what are you doing? SNAKE (Black King voice) Negative, requesting emergency evac chopper to relay point Foxtrot, over. RED VIPER (O.S.) Affirmative, sending escort immediately, we’ll station you at our mountain base for the time being until Dreamscape redeploys you and a new squad. SNAKE (Black King voice) Roger. Snake stands up and removes his mask. SNAKE I don’t need to locate his point of origin to track Phoenix’s operations down, I’m sending them to take me there personally. OTACON (O.S.) But Snake, they aren’t escorting YOU to their sieged region, they’re escorting Black King! SNAKE You’re right, they’ll be expecting to escort Black King... Snake looks down at Black King’s body, the camera aims down towards it as well. Snake puts on his face camo. SNAKE (Black King voice) And that’s exactly who they’ll be picking up. FADE OUT: |

Being someone who actually helped with the recording of some scenes, I can probably answer why it feels like MGS4, because it's being recorded with Metal Gear Online and is set during the MGS4 era. Kamran, you said you edited the name to Touchstone, but in the script, it jumps from Touchstone to Red Viper, so I think you missed some parts. Overall, not bad. |
