Mohinder gaining powers and changing his personality. FUUUUCK. That was so annoying. The scene with him flirting with Maya then eventually banging her was fucking terrible. I actually wanted to turn it off while it was on - such cringeworthy TV, something I'd expect to see in a daytime soap.

When he first showed up and stopped time, I was actually thinking of how bad ass his character could be. But then he went and ruined it by jumping to the future and leaving everybody to die. He could've at least waited a few minutes and cleaned up the mess that he was responsible for.

I can't say I'm disappointed. Personally, I wanted to see a fucking war break out between the three escapees and Sylar. Besides that, I was wondering how Mirai Peter put his present counter-part in Jesse's body.

What I expected to happen, didn't. I imagined Peter telling the "fear" guy that if, if he were in his own body, that guy would be dead. When he was in real danger, Peter's powers would surface in Jesse's body, transforming into Peter, and making a wreck of the three.

The imagine the African had painted on the rock, before it was repainted... That looked to me like Matt and Daphne with a son, then Matt holding Daphne after the repaint. Thoughts?

Yeah, I agree. I really wanted something great to happen between the three. But of course this show tries to avoid action as much as possible it seems. Also on that subject, what ever happened to the black guy? Noah was by the front door, which Sylar shut. The black guy ran in the other direction. It's not like there is a back door to the bank that he escaped from.

About the paintings. Yes, I agree 100%, it looked just like her. Short blond hair and all.

What do you think of the scene where it showed Sylar baking and talking to Peter? It seems like that is in the future and if so I'd guess that they were friends...or even *shudders* live together.

Noah made a comment about "you're letting him get away," which would lead me to believe he may have somehow got out. The black guy's powers are based on fear, which is a shitty super-power, by the way, but he seemed incredibly fast when amped up. That being said, Jesse looked like he could've shit himself.

heh, I agree. For level 5 villains most of their powers seemed rather shity. Sylar had only been put at level 2 when he first went there. I can't see that black guy causing enough fear to get strong on his own. Unless he runs up and down the street waving a gun in the air with one hand and his penis in the other.
Either way though, of all the people to attack and take their powers, he should've picked that guy. Sylar can be rather intimidating and would use that fear to his advantage.
Anyway, I always tend to look at little things that I shouldn't. Overall though, it was a good episode.

What effect taking the black guy's power would have on Sylar is debatable. For the black guy himself, it only increases his physical strength, which Sylar doesn't really need. It may or may not increase Sylar's other powers. If it did, Sylar would definitely need that upper-hand to go against Peter again.

There are a lot of minute details to be picked up on. For instance, there are now four potentially immortal characters: Adam, Claire, Sylar, and Peter. I usually pick up on others, but I usually forget soon after. I'm keen on those things until about five minutes after the show is over.

I'm still waiting on the lovechild of Claire and Peter. I think that inbred prick would be the end-all be-all of the Heroes universe. Alas, I digress.

The preview for next episode showed Claire attacking Peter and Peter seeking out Sylar. I can't help but think that Claire is going to end up working for Primatech.

Also, I'm starting to question who fathered Nathan, Peter, and Sylar. I'm starting to think that Nathan has a different father than Peter and Sylar.

I'm gonna do some wiki-digging and come up with more crackpot theories.

I agree that Sylar wouldn't necessarily need the power of feeding off fear. But I still see it as a better power then what he was going after. Naturally people tend to be afraid when Sylar is around, which would make him strong most the time.

I'm still waiting to find out about the whole mother father thing. I had been hoping that it wasn't true that Sylar was related to them. But I guess it has to be if Angela had Sylar take that chicks power to know the past of anybody he touches. Cause she wouldn't risk having Sylar touch her and know that she had been lying about their past together.

Before the season started, I hard from a few news sites that Sylar was going to have a baby this season. A lot figured that it would be Mya, but I hope not. I guess it can't be Claire since they are related. So that doesn't leave much in terms of caste. Elle maybe...? I dunno.

It should be Claire, though. Claire is the golden child. If I was Sylar, I would've taken West's form and fucked the shit out of her, brother or not.

Angela said that the girl's power allowed her to see the past of anything she touches. Whether or not this extends to people is yet unknown.

I know this would turn things into yet another confounding clusterfuck, but I get the feeling that Peter and Sylar's father is Maury Parkman, Matt's father. All four of them have a mental component to their powers. Peter seems to take the power of those he gets emotionally attached to, per Tim Kring's comments. Sylar has to access his victims' brains to attain their powers. Compared to Nathan, Sylar and Peter's powers are far too similar.
