Hey everyone. My name is Joshus, Im from Texas. I absolutely love the Metal Gear series. I have been playing it since Metal Gear on Nintendo, didn't play Snake's Revenge until after MGS2 was out. Still, cannot complain, love every aspect of it. Have one question, I have been cruising this forum for a few weeks before signing on  and I have noticed something, that most of you have what looks like a team or something to that affect in your siggy? Is that for MGS4 Online, like a clan, or is it just some cool thing like, " look at me, im part of outer heaven!" Cause I think they look really cool. The presentation on most of them is awesome and the names are bad @$$ as well?

Well my friend, those are what we like to call orgs. DC, NGSF, OH, FH, TSF. They are groups that you ask to join when you get 100 post. Anyways, welcome to the forum and avoid the bannanas oh right, read the rules Edited by wraith shadow, Sep 25 2008, 12:54 AM.

Hey, new guy! Welcome.
Those in full wording would be Dead Cell, Next Generation Special Forces, Outer Heaven, FOXHOUND, and The Special Forces, BTW. They're basically just private miniforums that only members of said forum can enter. And like my buddy Wraith said, you need 100 posts before you can join. There's also a shadow organization called the Patriots, but no one is really sure what they're up to. And no, I'm not a Patriot spy.

Oh snap you did not just mention Bannanas....!! You...have no idea.  Yes Yes, alot of the members on this board are members of the lovely organizations that have since been established for the enjoyment of the members. So if you feel you want a nice looking siggy, then make sure that your post contain coherent thought, and after 100 post you shouldn't have any problem getting into an org.  So welcome welcome. Yes so good posts help you with getting into the org you want to. Or you can just post lovely and not be in any org if you want. It's up to you they are good fun. You just want to make sure you don't spam for that first 100. Orgs will look into if the members are spamming for post count. They don't really like this for the most part because they are usally all looking for good posts and members who post fairly frequently. All of this you will know if you have read the rules or just take the time to see how things work. The good thing about this place is it has like the perfect amount of members. Enough so you know of a few people can be friends with a group, We have enough to know a decent size population of the regular members. Also many of us will play online games together. Thats always pretty neat. Many members even use skype and voice chat or own a headset so we get to chat a bit while playing online too. It's great. |
